Anyway I love Amamiya Kanade with my entire heart but it still makes me mad that he quit playing soccer because of the incident in middle school. Which I also still call absolute bullshit. How can he be the Captain And the Ace AND THEN FORGET HIS UNIFORM ON THE MOST IMPORTANT GAME? And his entire team just couldn’t let him play????

I get that he’d feel traumatized after that and then maybe distance himself from the sport, but I guess he didn’t truly love it if he could Just Stop Playing. His mom mentions that he just does part time jobs to do something and it’s not like he loved singing and dancing either, he only stayed because he likes making people smile. (And I guess he was bored and needed a new passion? And of course the competitiveness with Junya)
