Anyone interested in joining a murder mystery RP sort of thing? It's more complex than that, but that's the simplest I've got. It's been called similar to Dangan Ronpa, and we're starting the first game of the "new era" tonight. It's normally Homestuck based, but tonight is Self so you play as yourself and don't actually need to know anything about Homestuck. You can check out Doubtstuck.tumblr.com, and ask me any questions you might have later. Word of warning, though. There's definitely some dark themes, and everyone, new players and veterans alike, has a great chance of dying in game. You'd be able to play the next game, though. I'm bad at explaining this, but check out that website! It's really pretty fun and intense.
Looks like Doubtstuck's returning, and a Self game is tonight. Can't wait for the new era. I've been thinking and I think I know how to fix some of the problems. And the answer is not to go back to how things were.
Anyway, if anyone's interested in joining, check out Doubtstuck.tumblr.com. If you can RP Homestuck characters, great! I used to, but not anymore.
If you can't, that's also fine. As you can see on the schedule, there are days labelled "Self", which means you play as yourself instead of a character.
Tonight's game will be Self, and as it's the beginning of a new era, I'd highly recommend people join! Technically, it won't matter too much. I think only a few of us played the first one of the last era, but still. It's fun.
Doubt is a game that's full of mystery and murder, so be careful if those things offend you. People will die... But that makes it a bit more exciting.
If you've got questions, let me know, and I'll do my best to explain!
There is a storyline to Doubt, but from what I understand you will not be expected to understand it in tonight's game.
If you do join (and everyone totally should because this game is awesome usually), I'll be Lien in the chatroom. Hope to see some new people there tonight! (I don't think an exact time has been named yet, so I'll make a post later. But usually people show up around 8-9 EST, unless the game is much earlier or later.)
