So everyone has that one friend who will go to the ends of the universe to woo his love-interest. We're talking learn a new language-make it rain-sing to her window-write a book-steal a blue trombone kind of stuff here. This is real life for some people. So let's get one thing straight. This has NEVER happened for me. I don't know if I just attract non-committal douchebags, because I am one. Or maybe I just have shitty luck. But either way, I don't know if I would like it. My friend was telling me about his crazy courtship of this girl, and the only thing I could think of was how in disbelief I would be as the girl. Why would someone go to those ridiculous lengths for another person? Do they really do it because they're in love with me? Or do they do it because they want so desperately to be in love, and I just happen to be in their path? Is being a non-committal doucheberry a terrible thing? WHY DO I LOVE ASKING RHETORICAL QUESTIONS? I wish I could hear about people falling in love without being a doubtful fuck. I need to experience love just to socialize better.
