Grève De Lecq woods. I’ve never been here before and access isn’t obvious as the path is behind the pub (which is handy for a swift half after a walk!). There were lots of different paths and places to explore. This time of year is wonderful as all of a sudden the trees have burst into leaf and everything is green. There were lots of beech trees in the wood looking spectacular. The stream (known as a ‘douet’) delineates the parish border so at times we were in St Ouen and others in St Mary. I love forest bathing for clearing your head. Really excited that I know how to get here now as one thing I miss about mainland Britain is woodland walks. Jersey doesn’t have a lot of large woodland areas. . . . . . #jerseyci #grevedelecq #stouen #stmary #douet #forestbathing #mightybeech #beechtree #decidouswoodland #britishwoods #itsnotjustbeaches #jerseychannelislands #exploringyourbackyard #localtourist #lovewhereyoulive #thisanxiousadventurer (at Jersey, Channel Islands) https://www.instagram.com/p/BxUzr-Hjrlw/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=11dziflf8so85
