カンタータ131番「深き淵より、主よ、われ汝に呼ばわる」BWV 131 BC,B25
Season Finale (Saturday)
As the spring warms up, SNO will partner with the Choir of St. David's Episcopal Church, led by Dr. Douglas Buchanan, for Bach's Cantata No. 147, Herz und Mund und Tat und Leben ("Heart and mouth and deed and life"). Hailed by the Baltimore Sun as "remarkable" and "offering admirable variety and depth of repertoire," the St. David's Choir offers a wide range of free events in the beautiful acoustic of the St. David's sanctuary and throughout the city. This special concert is a rare chance to hear "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring" in a springtime performance. After this cantata, SNO and CSD will perform our final featured world premiere of the season, a "chamber-choral symphony" by composer Ryan Lindveit. Not to be missed!
