All The Rage | A Town Called Eureka
Random 1am thought, but like.. Don’t Hate the Player was honestly such a good episode.
Sort of an emotional rollercoaster throughout, with Myka’s anger and concern and whatever else because her friends—her family—were now endangered saving someone who knew and experienced the consequences of artefacts already.
Followed by humour, and mixed in all throughout, per usual because the show is just great like that, with things like the utter shock from Claudia when she realised she was the princess in the tower needing to be rescued. (Fargo you and your fantasies 🙄)
Then the subsequent overcoming of trauma that remains engraved in my memory forever—Myka joining the game then, once Claudia starts going down to her worst fear, the reminder of the psych ward and the fear that she was seemingly just crazy and alone yet again. Maybe that it wasn’t real to begin with.
Other than this, Pete being his typical self, shirtless, and relentlessly into Leena (of the Eagle People) who made a damn good harpy and you oughta love the bonus Leena and Claudia friendship, because no, you can’t just brute force things
Seriously though, so mad because Douglas was there when we got a prime example of why artefacts are not to be used for one’s own benefit—Hugo taking over the Warehouse, having divided his own mind with the Zoetrope and stuff—like dude, you almost died you don’t have a lightsaber in Fortress 13, Mr. I’m-Scared-of-Quicksand

You want to know why I love Henry Deacon so much?
He is just an accidental grandpa character. I mean that in the most loving way possible. His students are his kids! Nathan despite them having a falling out in the end was his kid. Allison became his kid. He became Kevin's grandfather. He did whatever he could to make sure Kevin was safe in season 2. Jenna too!
We know that the students at Tesla look up to Henry and Henry makes sure they get into good collages and make sure no matter what age they are they were heard.
Lucas was one of his students and he wrote a letter of recommendation to the collage he later goes to. He also wrote one for Zoe because Zoe is his basically granddaughter. He even went behind Jack's back when doing it.
Even in 3x07 Kylie a nine year old in Zoe's grade was listened and heard by Henry even when others such as Zoe didn't cause of her age. Throughout that whole episode we see how good Henry is with kids despite him never having any. Cause his students are his kids. Jack, Jo, Fargo, Zane, Allison, Nathan, and even Holly are all his kids!
No one asked but my roman empire rarepair is Fargo/Lupo/Zane but specifically during the time shift and specifically from Zane's perspective because there's like eleven layers of fucked up crazy between the three of them and I need to see it play out. Zane's living out some borderline 50 Shades "this was actually in the HR presentation" romance thriller bullshit and meanwhile Lupo and Fargo are over here like. Zane's back!! :):):)
Mary Pickford and Douglas Fairbanks hang the entrance signs for their Pickford-Fairbanks Studios near the corner of Santa Monica Boulevard and Formosa Avenue in West Hollywood, 1922.
Tumblr needs to get obsessed with Eureka already because I need people to have and share opinions about Douglas Fargo right. now.
