uh, update. i've been out of the hospital for about two weeks now. i'm doing better, just kind of hanging out with the family and sometimes the unit.

taking a break from working at grizzco until my mental health gets better. my face is still green but at least my good side isn't matching it.

Good morning/afternoon/evening citizens of Chumblr. Me and my squad ended up joining the party together, and we made a whole blog to share just for the fun of it (it was a three vs one vote. I was the one against it, but I guess we're here now sooo)

Let me introduce ourselves. We are the Humboldt Unit, a high-ranking Grizzco Unit that is in high EVP ranks (think 800 to 999). It was founded after the first Undertow Spillway Big Run, and has grown to become a full squad recognized by Grizzco higher ups. Inside the job, we're among the best, but outside the job, we're a group of unlikely friends.

I don't do as much work as I used to at Grizzco, but I still do frequent the building.

my turn. hi. my name is doug (he/him). i'm the weapons guy. i know a lot about weapons and how they are used. i'm a bobtail squid, yes i know i'm short, i main blobbler too, but i can play any weapon i feel like playing. people kind of suck, i dont want to talk with people face to face, but i like history. i've been studying and deciphering old human language so i can learn their history, as its very rich. if you have any questions about weapons or history, i'm your guy.

Hi y'all!! I'm Cindy (She/Her), and I'm the most recent member of the unit. I'm a Sharpear Enope Squid, and I main E-Liter Scope. I'm kind of awkward so be patient with me, I get distracted easily and forget what I'm talking about. I like fashion, and I make a lot of clothing designs that I hope will become mainstream in the future. Also the Salmonids are restless, don't worry about it.

Humboldt Unit Update: We will not be participating for the rest of the Big Run.

Doug's currently in the hospital due to an unusual wave which was a mix of a fog wave and glowflies wave. Doug is awake and quite alive, he just reopened a two-year-old wound. He wanted me to tell the people that "nothing keeps him down for long" (which is why I'm writing this damn social media post).

He's one of the strongest Inklings I know. He takes so many damn hits and yet he just keeps going. I hope he knows this.

Stay safe for the rest of Big Run, and please, if you need to abandon shift to prevent injury, abandon shift

I’m stuck in alterna rn because my friends insist on monitoring me. You know I’m harmless! Anyway when it gets closer to big run I’ll need to get out. If you happen to stop by down here, please say hi. And… maybe help me prove I’m ok. I’m just a little hyper! Nothing wrong. They should know I don’t get much sleep, and I sure as hell ain’t stopping now! I am an unstoppable force of nature and nobody will stop me. I will be at Big Run watching over. You can count on it!

i know some people dont do well trapped in certain places. alterna is horribly condensed, and being underground can probably fuck with someone. i dont know much about salmonid biology but i think yall can sense magnetic fields? being underground probably fucks with that.
