Ah man. I probably won’t write the full version due to backlash or people who don’t understand sensible behaviour but can give you the Cliff’s Notes so you’re not left hanging.
TW Stalking, kidnapping, suicide, death, descriptions of death, mental illness. Horror. Completely fictional. Do not imitate. Stalking, kidnapping, and manslaughter are crimes. MDNI.
Here’s the idea. Krow has just got their inspiration back due to Dove as their new muse. They kidnap Dove (possibly with an offer of modeling work) but… Dove dies.
It’s a tragic death resulting directly or indirectly from Krow/their art but looks morbidly beautiful. Krow is so deep in denial that they think Dove is sleeping and paint them that way. They then tenderly carry their Dove into a dark room to “let them sleep”.
In the morning Krow is in a complete fugue state and has forgotten what happened. They are frantic, where is Dove? They must have left. They will be at the art supplies store, at the park, at their work! Yes.
And then someone else that looks like Dove is taken. Over and over they die.
One Dove silently succumbs to hypothermia in the cooling bathtub as Krow paints a pale Ophelia for hours in a draft. (Elizabeth Siddal almost died of pneumonia after posing this way.)
Another Dove passes with toxic swirls of cadmium yellow around them. The deceptively cheerful colour spills from their blue lips. (Cadmium paints including cadmium yellow contain toxic heavy metal. Van Gogh attempted this way.)
Lacking Krow’s stamina yet another one grows slowly weaker and passes. Busy considering their waifish ethereal look, Krow overlooked a medical condition. They paint this Dove into a pre-Raphaelite Lady of Shalott.
The final most recent one caught their head in the bars. Krow finds their neck twisted at an unnatural angle. With their hands curled into stiff delicate claws this Dove is caught forever in the act of escape.
Columbidae police are baffled at how similar the string of missing persons look and wonder if a serial killer has a pattern.
