Moral Orel is one of the things that I have an interest in but don’t really talk about it that often lol. I recently was able to watch the show with me being a fan of it before hand and I loved it!

Their premise so far is that the Jointruns are your typical Bible Belt family until they start to question everything around them and themselves.

Margaret Jointrun is starting to question how she feels about her marriage. While she still loves her husband, she felt confused about her stance in the relationship. This deeply disturbed her, because she had no idea what these emotions were at the time. One day while she was cleaning, she came across a pinup girl magazine that someone threw away in the trash. Now with the realization of what she was, she hid away from her family for almost an entire day.

After letting her have her space, her husband found her in their bedroom closet not in a panic, but in thought.

When getting her out, they both declared that they needed to tell each other something. At the same time, Margaret confessed to being a lesbian and her husband told her that she figured out that she is a trans woman. While both were shocked at the news, there was a sense of relief. Still in love with each other, they decided that they wanted to make their marriage work. However, there were major conflicts in the mix. For one, the town would not take kindly to either one of them. And two, their children, especially Xacto, would not take kindly to it either. So in order to try and hide everything, they say that her husband went on a missionary trip and the sister is now staying over to help out. So far everyone buys it but for how long?

Background:

Coming from a family of devout Christians, she felt that she was only on this earth to spread the good word. Because of this, she didn’t spend much time trying to figure out who she really was as a person. However, there was always a voice in the back in her head that was dissatisfied with the way she lived. And how she presented herself. She kept pushing this down until she met the love of her life Margaret. After moving to Moralton and away from her family, she started to realize that she wasn’t who she believed she was. In secret, she tried on her wives clothes in curiosity and the reality hit her like a brick.

Quiet and reserved, Respectful of those around her, Supportive but not vocal at times, Kept to herself, Not present emotionally at times, Reclusive, Kind but selective with how much she showed it

Wore a hat all the time including at night to hid hair growth, Loves gardening and all things 70s, Is slowly trying to do things that was restricted during her childhood, Loves to cook and took over after she came out, All of the townsfolk hit on her, Became more present in her children’s lives but they don’t know it, Buys Margaret lots of trinkets because “they reminded me of you,” Makes jewelry on the side
