Tamagotchi Uni Guidebook Download Codes are Unlimited!

Good news for those of us who cannot get a hold of the new Tamagotchi Uni Guidebook recently released in Japan. The promised 4 download codes that come nested inside the book are actually unlimited use download codes, and not limited use download codes. As a reminder, limited use download codes are limited to just 3 downloads, and are presented in a banner. These unlimited use download codes are not in a banner, and therefore are unlimited!

As a reminder, the Tamagotchi Uni Guidebook comes with the Master book, then the master aura, master glasses, and lastly, master hat download codes. Enjoy!

Be Careful Sharing Tamagotchi Uni Download Codes

Tamagotchi Uni Download Codes just launched a few days ago on the Tamagotchi Uni. It actually requires a Wi-Fi connect on the Tamagotchi Uni, and after the download code is entered it seems to validate that the code is accurate, and can be downloaded.

In a recent FAQ on the official Tamagotchi website, Bandai shares that there are two types of download codes, both limited and unlimited-use. Limited-use download codes can be downloaded on up to three different Tamagotchi Uni devices, meaning it won’t work on the fourth Tamagotchi Uni.

Unlimited-use download codes can be downloaded to as many Tamagotchi Uni devices as you wish. This includes the download code on your Tamagotchi Uni instruction manual, or accessory package. If you delete items you’ve received from a download code, you can re-download it from the network icon, networking settings, and then items.

Tamagotchi Uni: Download Codes

What a throwback to the Tamagotchi Connection series, codes are back! This feature reminds us of the special codes for the Tamagotchi Connection series and we love it. The Tamagotchi Uni brings back special codes, this time called download codes.

Download codes are 16-digit alphanumeric codes that you can enter directly into your Tamagotchi Uni to download exclusive items, and Tamaverse areas. From the Tamagotchi Uni menu, select “Network” and then select “Download” and use the buttons to enter in the 16-digit code.

Where can you obtain these codes? Well there’s many ways to get download codes. In fact the Tamagotchi Uni comes with one printed on the instruction manual which differs in color based on the Tamagotchi Uni in Purple or Pink. The download code gets you a purple or pink headband. There are additional download codes that will be in the packaging of the Cyber Black and Future White bands, and even the Unique Black and Unique Marble lanyards!

There’s also some codes floating around the official Tamagotchi Uni website based on locale to celebrate the global announcement of the Tamagotchi Uni. There is one big thing that needs to be called out. In order to enter download codes into your Tamagotchi Uni, you must be connected to Wi-Fi.

Some download codes have a limited number of downloads, such as the ones featured on the Tama Stickers in a recent campaign ran by Bandai Japan.

It sounds like we are really covering the tip of the surface with this feature with some limited items available, we are really more excited about Bandai’s mention of Tamaverse areas. How awesome would it be to see the Tamaverse expand with even more places to visit?

Bandai Japan Announces Tamagotchi Gummies with Die Cut Stickers & Download Code!

OMG we are obsessed, this is giving us 90’s vibes and we’re here for it. Bandai Japan has just announced a new delicious campaign that you’re going to love.

Tamagotchi gummies in muscat and lemon flavor that are shaped as your favorite vintage Tamagotchi characters, an egg, Mametchi, Kuchipatchi, Oyajitchi, Ginjirotchi, and Masktchi.

Each pack of gummies includes 1 die cut sticker, and there are 14 stickers total which are designed with nostalgic Tamagotchi characters. The stickers include the Tamagotchi Original, Tamagotchi Plus, vintage sprites in color, and more. The best part is that each sticker includes a 16-digit download code to an exclusive item, a fruit hat!

The release date for these gummies is set for Monday, November 20th, 2023 at confectionary sales areas of mass retailers nationwide in Japan. No word on if these download codes are unlimited or limited, but we’ll monitor the situation. You can learn more about the gummies here.
