I haven't been able to get back here on tumblr for ages; work's been hell lately 😭 But, I did manage to make this pub sign cc on the downlow there (I'm a 3D texture artist). I wanted to share it here for you guys, because I'm really grateful for the people who've followed me in the short time I've been posting my story. 💗 I'm sorry I haven't been around to visit your blogs - I've got a bookmark list of simblr stories I really want to read! Anyways, this sign is a brand new mesh, base game compatible (even though it's, um, made for Pepper's Pub in Britechester/Discover University 😅) and there are 48 swatches... I wanted to match the colour palette of the Discover University build/buy items, and have 4 different pub motifs to choose from, and make versions in both Simlish and English... so that's how I ended up with 48. 😅 The metallics vary in brightness depending on the angle/lighting; I don't know how I managed to get semi-realistic metallics working with terrible Sims specular maps... it was mostly an accident. 😆 Also, tumblr likes to compress my images no matter what size I post - I promise these look much better in game.
