The problem with these permapay cc creators thinking you should just pay if you want their stuff and act like it should be no big deal because you own the game make no sense when there's probably thousands upon thousands of cc creators, and if you had to pay all of them, you'd easily go broke even if you had money
They said “I cannot support early access creators like I want to because I have to pay for paywalled content.”
THINK ABOUT THAT. See, the truth is that a lot of paywall creators charge extreme prices for their content. Some examples below:
Breezemotors: $29 a month for all content
Leosims: $15 a month for all content
Blackmojitos: $25 a month for all content
Slephora: $10 a month for all content
Safari.Sims: $29.50 a month for a large build
felixandre: $20 a month for all content.
Aggressivekitty: $10 a month for builds full of other people’s CC.
Those prices are insane. And because early access folks tend to have lower prices, for the same price of ONE sub to these folks a month, you can support a ton of early access creators. Here’s an EXAMPLE post I made where I showed how the $15 I could have spent on Leosims content went to EIGHT different early access creators.
In a perfect world, everyone who offers CC would do early access and have prices that are reasonable for it (ex: no more than $5 or so). And patreons could sub to different creators and switch subs around from month to month to support different creators based on what early access content they’d like, and be able to support more creators because of the early access clause and lower prices.
But that’s not the reality, and sadly, unless people like you and me speak out and talk about how these creators are literally bleeding the community dry with NO care for ethics, copyright, or rule-following....this will continue to be the case.
