I’m personally not an avid believer of the whole “the avatar’s lover looks similar to the next avatar reincarnation” theory

But Kavik looks so similar to Kuruk that it’s downright uncanny. From the face/head shape, to the eyes and nose, even down to the damn choker that they both wear.

Like, this screenshot of Kuruk in ATLA straight up look 1:1 to Kavik’s portrait here. It’s kinda scary.
