Insanity, stretches and backbends
So today I started Insanity, and it was, well... INSANE! Really, I thought I was dying and that was because it was only the fit test, and I took way longer breaks than they took in the video. Still, I was really happy with myself that I managed to complete it, and now that I know how bad my stamina is, I'm even more motivated. I will do this, even if it takes me 3 hours to do a 45 minutes set.
For yoga, I started with A Seated, Whole Body Hatha Yoga Flow, by David Procyshyn, which I did with my mom. This class is great if you are looking for stretching. It's begginer, but it does have some interesting poses, like some binds and twists, plus, as always with David, it's super relaxing. My mom suffered a little though, and made me laugh several times, as usual.
Then I did Backbending From Base Intermediate Yoga Class with Fiji McAlpine, on my own. This was a great class, like usual, from Fiji. My only complaint is that we should maybe get into wheel a couple more times, since this is sort of the "climax" pose, but still, it was a great class, and I can't wait to get even better at my backbends.
