–ugh.
Oblivious as he had been to Joshua’s apparent presence on the balcony, and as much as he hated getting his own lecture, the guy had a point. Admittedly, Neku’s mood was still sour from the ordeal of being dragged to a party with Bad Music and promptly left to his own devices. He might be taking a bit of that out on his bench-mate, ironically.
As if giving up the ghost–or at least the argument–Neku flopped back against the railing. It wasn’t very comfy on his shoulders, but it made a pretty okay headrest and it meant not looking at Joshua
“… Sorry. Don’t take it personally. I’m … mad, I guess.”
“Clearly.” He teased, then gave Neku a once-over as he lifted the drink to his lips. If the redhead wasn’t going to drink it, he might as well. Joshua wasn’t going to let it go to waste and pouring it back into the bottle would be simply neanderthal.
“Are you mad at the choice of music or the fact that there’s hardly any air inside to breath?”
While the answer was obviously both, Joshua couldn’t help himself from poking when he could see that he had started to win over the abrasive youth. Besides, those were the very same reasons that Joshua had come outside himself. Not to mention the cess pool of sweating teens... gross. No thank you.
“Would you have preferred that the host put on Disney?”
