Good Conversation Marshall|Meg
Well, this was... refreshing. She came back at him blow for blow. wit, to him, was a turn on. Sure, she was cute, but the fact that she was sarcastic, that her humor was dry... well, for the first time he cut off autopilot during a conversation at this place. He leaned against the door frame of the front entrance, right where they had started talking, and gave a little half-smile before continuing.
"So what's your damage? Why're you here?" Not much of a great pick-up line, but that didn't matter. If she was anything like her first impression, than hopefully he wouldn't get bored. And if he did... well, he'd say something rude and excuse himself-- simple. Sort of what he always did.
Sometiems he thought about it, how mean he was to complete strangers sometimes when first meeting them. Well, not mean, but he really wasn't too friendly either. But then he remembered... he was better than everyone else... so fuck 'em. Why care? Small talk with people who one didn't like was pointless. Frustrating, really. Besides, he found that natural selection was the best way to weed out the people he really didn't care for. If he didn't like them in the first few minutes, or they got offended by him too easily... then he wasn't really missing much by being rude to them anyway. But if they came BACK at him, the way she did? Well then they might just be worth taking the time to get to know them.
