The apartment was big enough for two people. It was comfortable, nothing like Father’s mansion, but that was more of a lonely place. It was too big.
There were plants everywhere, all different kinds. They made the place smell much better. The smell was relaxing.
“Alright, so we have to set a few ground rules,” Sam said, looking down at me. I found I… Didn’t mind much? Everything was still confusing. Why was I here when I could have just found Father? “First off, no leaving the apartment without me.”
I huffed. “Typical, I could’ve figured that out on my own,” I mumbled.
“Second, no weapons. If you have any on you, now would be the time to take them out,” she continued.
“... Father never trusted me with weapons,” I said softly, looking away. It was true. He didn’t want me ruining anything with them.
“Do you have a name?” She asked suddenly.
I took a step back. “I… I don’t think so? Father always called me FMC-2 or girl… Those aren’t names, are they?”
Sam shook her head. “If you’d like, we can look on the internet and you can pick a name.”
“... Do we have to?” I whined. “Don’t you have, like, a book or something?”
“I mean, I think so, but the internet is faster-”
“Father said it will poison my mind,” I said, folding my arms.
“We’ll… have to work on that later. For now, we’ll look through the book.” She grabbed the book from the shelf and handed it to me. “Here,” she said.
I opened it and I was in the R section already. After flipping a few pages, I found the perfect name. “This one,” I said. “Rylie.”
“I think it fits you perfectly,” Sam said with a smile. “So from now on, you’re Rylie Manson.”
When I was working on this post, @imekitty and I thought up some ideas for Walker and Spectra’s kids. So here they are: Coyote and his little sister Dante!
Don’t let their looks deceive you, they’re just as diabolical as their parents. :)

They had me in this glass prison, with a power dampener on my wrist! Only Father was allowed to use those; only Father was allowed to put me anywhere!
“Let me out!” I cried out, punching the wall. Nothing happened. The glass was too strong for a human to break. It was probably ghost-proof too.
“Not yet, kid,” the black woman said. Father called her the Red Huntress. I called her annoying. She was the reason I was here! She interrupted the fight between Phantom and me, the cheater. She could have waited her turn.
Father wanted me to get him Phantom for mid-morph samples. I wasn’t stupid. It was for another clone, not me. But as he was the only person in the world who cared for me at all, I had to listen to him. He was my Father. You had to listen to your parents.
“We should just throw her into the Ghost Zone and be done with it,” the Red Huntress said. “She’s not like Danielle. She’s more brainwashed than she ever was.”
“It’s not like she had a choice in the matter, Valerie,” a goth woman said, her arms folded across her chest. I hadn’t heard a name for her.
“But if we keep her as far away from Plasmius as we can, then we can temporarily stop whatever he’s planning,” Valerie pointed out.
“Sam, Val’s right,” Phantom, in his human form, said with a sigh. I think he called himself Danny or something like that.
“Danny, she’s still just a kid!” Sam exclaimed. “If we just taught her-”
“We don’t have the time to do that, Sam. He’ll keep coming. I’d rather not have her as a distraction- especially when she could just side with him again,” the halfa said seriously. Then, he looked at me.
“Do you have anything to say, kid?” He sighed, looking down at me.
I bared my canines- this wasn’t as effective as my ghost form’s fangs- and hissed. “I’ll just find my way back to father, or he will find me.”
Suddenly, a door opened, showing off the area of the lab with all the science things and the portal. The big orange man who yelled poked his head in. “Son, you’re gonna wanna see this,” he said, looking upset and serious at the same time.
“What is it, dad?” Danny asked with a frown. “I thought you and mom were just making fudge.”
“Yeah, but we had a sample of the girl’s ectoplasm and we decided to study it,” orange man said with a frown. “She’s… She’s not a clone, Danny.”
“What else could she be?” Valerie replied, looking at me then the orange man.
“Vlad used your DNA and Sam’s, son. She’s your daughter.”
The room went silent.
That… That couldn’t be right. Father said I was just a clone. Nothing more. Just another creation of his with no free will. He could melt me down whenever he wanted.
I was the first one to say anything. “No. I’m just a clone. Father said so and he’s never wrong.”
“He’s wrong all the time,” the Red Huntress said under her breath. I glared at her. No one insulted Father. Last time I did anything bad towards him, I was nearly melted. My legs wobbled at the thought of what had happened.
“Danny,” Sam started. “I’m not letting you throw her into the Ghost Zone. She’s staying with me.”
“Sam, no, she’s too-”
“Dangerous? She’s seven and her powers are locked, what’s the worst she could do?” She said, walking towards my glass prison. “If you don’t want her, that’s fine, but I’m not going to just let her stay with Vlad and that’s final.”
She opened the door with a code, reaching out her hand. “It’s okay, sweetie,” she said softly. “I’m not gonna hurt you.”
I hissed at her, eyes narrowed. They would surely be glowing yellow if I had my powers. “I don’t trust you. You could melt me for all I know.”
“But I won’t. I’m gonna give you a nice place to sleep and we’re going to talk about a few things,” she replied with a small smile.
I frowned. Was it safe to trust anyone other than Father? Was it safe to trust someone who worked with Phantom?
