personally danny phantom crossover fanfiction is a plague but if *i* was going to do it w/ devil may cry i’d do fusion elements and make the ghost zone “purgatory” or purgatorio or whatever, a dimension in a layer between the human world and the underworld where the spirits of humans (mostly) and demons (sometimes) can remake themselves.
