A Nice Surprise || Fawncules

Fawn had been cooped up in her room for too long, and although she enjoyed the company of her animals, she felt like doing something at least somewhat productive that day. She snuk into the school's kitchen and gathered up ingredients before beginning her baking escapade. Fawn ended up with a nice little yellow cake with vanilla icing. with the help of a bit of food coloring she outlined a small bunny onto the cake and wrote "somebunny loves you", laughing the entire time. When finished, she took a step back to admire it before grabbing a couple paper plates, along with some disposable silverware and made her way to the dorm room. When she reached the junior floor, the petite girl walked towards his room and stood in front of his door, wondering what she should do. Finally, she quietly took the handle and turned it, chuckling softly when she found it was unlocked. Creaking the door open, she called through the small opening. "Herc?" she sang lightly, not wanting to enter just to respect the privacy of his roommate.

Skip, Hop, and a Train Ride Away || Fawncules

The day had come. Fawn knew it the very moment she woke up, the rain trickling down her window as she gazed out at the hauntingly beautiful scenery that was Disney Prep. Say what they wanted, the place would always have this almost magical air about it. The girl got dressed in layer upon layer of clothing before sitting through her day of classes, only home on her mind. Once her last class was over, Fawn shuffled back to her room and quickly grabbed her suitcase that she had brought when she first arrived. Packing it with various articles of clothing, she zipped it closed after only about 15 minutes. That was something Fawn had always prided herself on; she was one of the few girls that took ages to pack. The fact that she was going back to her own home was just an added bonus, since she had a whole other wardrobe there. Once all packed and ready, she dropped off both her pets at their temporary home with all their supplies. "I'll be home soon," Fawn said to each one, partially for their benefit, and partially for her own. Maybe saying it over and over again would make it actually true.

The time came to stop by Herc's room, a place she had seen quite often as of late. With a sigh of relief, she reminded herself to thank him once again for coming along with her. Although she'd never admit it, in the back of her mind Fawn knew that she needed to have some sort of excuse to go back, and having a guest with her was perfect. Besides, Fawn couldn't imagine leaving Herc again. Remembering their late night phone calls, although they made her smile, she knew she wouldn't be okay with just hearing his voice. And who knew, having him there could be really fun. As she neared his door, her hand went lightly to knock thrice. Patiently waiting for the door to open, Fawn's smile grew as it finally opened and she was greeted with his sparkling eyes. Without a greeting, she stood on her tip-toes to kiss him quickly. "Hi," she mumbled into his lips. "Ya just about ready?"
