You're Not Staying.. || Squirt & Regan (closed)
Squirt was awoken by what must have been a pillow bring thrown at his head. Groggily, the boy pulled his head up to see that he was correct. "Well now," he said, his voice showing how tired he was, "you only ever do that when you need to talk about something." He stretched out his arms in attempt to wake himself up as Regan sat atop her bed with her legs crossed Indian style. "Morning!" She exclaimed. "No, not really. Just wanted you to wake up at the same time morning people do." He rolled his eyes with a half-smile on his face as he turned over on his back, still underneath the warm covers. "Do you know how often we change time zones here?" "Do you know how many times we changed time zones on tour?" she replied with just as much sass as the boy had given her. "You were always the last one up, even when we were home." He gave a small shrug before folding his arms under his head. "So I met the girlfriend," Regan blurted out. His brows raised immediately, wanting her to elaborate. "Mm?" he hummed. "She's pretty as," she nodded with a small smile. "Go on," he said with a fond grin on his face.. Even thinking about Snow made him happy. "And she's nice too. I don't know how you managed to snag her up but good job.." Although she truly meant it, Squirt noticed her trail off at the end. His gaze fell from the ceiling down to the older of the two. "But.." he began, not knowing what to expect. "/But,/" Regan repeated, fidgeting with a lock of her wavy blonde hair. "You're leaving, Squirt."
His lips pressed together, not wanting to comment. But Regan continued on for the both of them. "You're only staying here until your grades are up. And then you're back on tour with us." "So..?" Squirt chimed, although he knew where this was going. "So you can't just lead the poor girl on like that; that's not cool." He sat up in his bed and looked at her. "Who said I was?" His words showed his concern for the matter, but his face portrayed a tinge of hurt for the accusation. "I'm not saying that you don't like her. It's clear you do, mate. But I know you, and I know that you haven't even thought about what you'll do when the time comes." Squirt opened his mouth to reply, but no words escaped. She was right, the blonde wasn't thinking too far ahead. The most he had ever thought ahead was with his date with Snow, and that was only a week in advance, and included help. "You're not staying here, and we both know that. Once you get a few more good test grades, you'll come back to us. And what's the poor girl going to do then, aye?" Squirt's eyes fell to the ground, no words able to come him for a response. "You need to be careful with this, alright? I'm not saying you have to end things right now. I'm just saying that, well, don't go falling in love with the girl. For both your sake's. Because once you're back with us, you can't afford to have any distractions." His eyes finally met hers, seeing a caring look in her blue eyes that matched his own sad ones. He nodded twice in understanding before getting up out of bed. "Alright." He stated simply. "I'm going to take a shower," he added before slowly pacing towards the bathroom. Regan nodded back to him and watched him leave the room before sighing and dialing for room service, ordering the two a nice big breakfast.
Once in the shower, Squirt leaned his back against the shower wall opposite of the shower head, letting the hot water hit his face and trickle down his front. He let out a sigh, wondering how he was going to handle the situation. He didn't want to have to worry about things like this, it wasn't him. His mind reverted back to when Regan had instructed him not to fall in love with Snow. The problem was, he already had.
