A brand new winery is a lovely discovery. Peter Wise is not new to wine making. He comes from a family of wine makers from Mosel in Germany. Although it runs a short distance the novelty of ascending up to Dufferin Terrace at the foot of the iconic Chateau Frontenac is always fun. Go up or down, you'll have a panoramic view of the St. Lawrence River and Lower Town at a 45°angle. Taking it up will save you a steep walk up and many stairs. Well worth on this hot summer day!
