You ||Kida & Tarzan||
Kida wandered around the empty campus, no one was up this early. Her guitar case hung over her shoulder. She hardly used this one. She wasn't much of an acoustic person, but her latest creation required it. It's the most vulnerable song she'd ever written. It needed to be naked. Like she felt. With her heart out there for everyone to see. She hated gossip. She hated that the world knew. And she hated that she will probably never get what she wanted. A bench called her name. She lit a cigarette and fiddled with the strings for a moment. It was still pretty in tune. Her fingers ran over the strings, playing a small tune. It was soft and bittersweet. She took the cigarette from her lips and placed it in the guitar's head. Then, she started to sing softly. "You don't want me, no, you don't need me, no." She bit her lip as she sang, the words meaning so much to her. "Like I want you, oh, like I need you." She'd written the words down before, but she never sang them. Once they had sound, she realized how fucked she was. Her voice cracked as she hit the chorus. "And I want you in my life. And I need you in my life." The cigarette fell from the guitar and she stopped. She reached down to pick it up and saw someone approaching. Trying to regain her composure, she sat up and took a drag. It was too early to deal with anyone seeing her like this.
