Last year, I made DQ hero icons where they all had glowing number tattoos! I decided to include the female heroes as well this year since they deserve some love too.

I love Akira Toriyama's art and the Dragon Quest series. I haven't played that many games from it, but I hold fond memories of the ones I managed to get my hands on

Last year I finished DQ4 and I reaaally enjoyed it!! So I decided to draw Sofia, because her design is an absolute delight. She's my favourite DQ protagonist so far!! Just look at her... her humongous green fluffly hair... the slime earrings... how her sprite looks like she's buff enough to break you in half.... she's perfect... (we even share names too heheheh!)

For this piece I really played around with the textures to give it a more traditional and rusty look even though it's digital art :]

I hope I can make more DQ art someday, this was fun! 💖🐉✨✨
