I am definitely enjoying Dragon Quest VII Reimagined but not as much as the other ones I’ve played.

Mostly because my usual comment in the third act of the game is I JUST GOT HERE WHY DO I HAVE TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE WHEN I’M GOING TO HAVE TO COME BACK HERE WITHOUT EVEN SOLVING A PUZZLE. PUT THE NPC NEAR ME OR BEHIND A BATTLE OR PUZZLE AND NOT JUST AN UNNECESSARY STRETCH OF MAP.

I like the locations and the concept of returning to places to see how they changed, but not the needless running about the game has me do just to enter a dungeon.
