Now that Jay is slowly recovering his memories, what memories with your OCs do you think would come back to him first?

Jay: *returns to monastery*

Jesse: Hey Jay!!! Heard you got your memories back! Mostly!

Jay: *squints* …everything in me is telling me you’re Cole’s husband, and yet he’s over there with Geo—?

Jesse: OKAY WOW starting off strong I see—!

Jay: IT WAS JUST AN OBSERVATION

Jay: *doing maintenance on Miranda’s gear*

Jay: …I really did make these, didn’t I?

Miranda: oh NOW you remember that. Nevermind that I TOLD you that and you wrote me off and stole my data and worked with Ras to get literally everyone we know either humiliated or killed or both

Jay: …please don’t be like that—

Miranda: JUST cuz you got your memories back doesn’t erase all the bad things you did without them :/

Miranda: The memory loss might not be your fault but your actions were still your own :/

*awkward silence*

Jesse: *sticks head in* Yeah Jay I certainly didn’t forget how you taught Cam to swear either

Jay: THAT was an accident!!!

The News: *shows Sunni delivering the weather*

Jay: *about jumps out of his skin*

(Dragons rising ask) How would you say that Jesse gets along with each of the new ninja?

Definitely gets along with Arin the most, as Jesse understands a lot of Arin’s S2/S3 frustrations where other characters have more or less brushed it off (or in Ras’ case, tried to take advantage of). Admittedly likes when Arin gets a bit fanboyish over the Fuchsia Ninja or even anything about his performing days. And when he’s in a good mood, he’ll join in on Arin’s pie baking

Likes Sora, but cannot follow along with half of what she says lol (Sora has much more to talk about with Miranda anyway). Relates heavily to her parental issues, so they do find a way to bond over that. Sora also builds tech-toys for Cam to play with (which are usually some sort of experiment in disguise lol)

Does not like Wyldfyre (at first) and does everything he can to avoid her (to no avail lol). Once she starts getting training from Kai and mellows out a bit, she becomes more tolerable to him, but she still isn’t his favorite person (as she is a baaaad influence on Cam dlgkskdksl)

Neutral on Frak at first thanks to the whole ‘on the enemy team’ thing, but warms up to him quickly once he makes his true stance known. Frak’s always asking about Cole and trying to pull any earth-related power tips he can from Jesse’s personal observations. Also heavily relate to each other on the ‘my worked-hard-to-get-where-he-is dad thinks I won’t ever amount to anything and probably regrets my birth and doesn’t understand me at all’ scale ahahaaaaaa

Likes Euphrasia (from what he’s heard/seen) but outside of the tournament and until she (probably) pops up at the Monastery I dunno if they ever actually get a full chance to interact hlsjflslglfldl

Does Cam learn all her swear words from amnesiac Jay, and does she think he’s cool because of that?

Since in DRS4, Lloyd will be meeting versions of himself from "paths not walked", then how do you imagine DRLegacy!Lloyd would feel about meeting Alter!Lloyd?

Same goes for Lucina assuming she goes with him (from the trailer it looks like he has to do this part "alone", but I can see her loopholing herself into helping)?

(hey Lucina also holds the Green Element, and she's roughly 13-14 when DRS4 happens, so maybe she hears her own call and winds up where Lloyd is by coincidence. bam loophole found adffghhjhgfd)

but noooooooo you're gonna make me wanna write a story where "path not walked" Lloyd is Alter!Lloyd (but only a mirage/vision/what have you) (or he's for the trial Lucina has to go through so then we get Tween!Lloyd too lmao) and Lucina gets her hopes up on getting to be with him again and if Lloyd's going through yet another self-doubt phrase then seeing the ~perfect~ version of himself that his daughter clearly misses certainly wouldn't help matters and Lucina has to deal with letting her bio!dad go again and Lloyd has to contend with the fact that he doesn't have to prove anything to anyone and that he's the best him that could've come out from his circumstances-!

DR!Jesse is not the main character, but somehow he's the number one target.

Universe: Yeah I know; pull yourself together already man!

I can’t wait for DRs4p1, where Jesse is covered in casts and has to share a hospital room with Geo, who is just as beat up. Surely no intense emotions and difficult discussions will be had whatsoever!

Well by S4 I picture that whatever beef Jesse has with Geo would be long-since resolved; he'd be far more pissed about Cole's previous recklessness than anything else

Still a lot of volatile emotions, but less Geo in the crossfire adfghjkjhgf

So, if every Master of Surprise has different moves for the same Elements they channel it through, then how would that work for a temporary transfer of power, like the Tournament of Elements or Sources? Would each temporary user have a completely unique move set, or would they use the same move set as the current Master?

Also, I know Jesse wouldn't be the current Master of Surprise, but remember that scene in the DR S2 finale where Nokt is countering everyone using their own Elemental Powers? What move would Nokt have used to counter Jesse (assuming he's there)?

The answer is actually ‘same moveset as the current Master’, which we’ll get to see in Book 3, eventually. (…with a sliiiight twist for that particular instance but we’re not there yet)

And yeah, Nokt would technically have access to Cam’s set of powers in that scenario (which I still need to fully work out), but I do think it’d be an extra gut punch if Nokt didn’t actually counter Jesse at all—but rather used Aftershock to enhance his capabilities with every other element in his possession, woop.
