1. I feel like being the first and longest victims of dark matter should have made her at least a little sick after being cured?

2. How will Olivia handle Nya’s corruption? I can guess it’ll hurt to see Nya being both evil AND not the Nya that Olivia cares for.

3. Would dark matter be immediate or slow over time? As in, she’d be going to school and progressively becoming meaner, more short tempered, and crueler(and idk, someone at that school would have to notice her eyes purple) as the week goes on.

4. Finally, would Nya have nightmares about who she became under dark matter or would she not remember anything and just have a scar?

Immediate, and as she gets corrupted over the school's Winter Break vacation (and also cured before school resumes as well), having her classmate witness her change won't be an issue (...save for the handful that witness her attacking the city in the finale, but by that point there's even more corrupted individuals, so ehh)

4. I won't say she's skipping on rainbows afterward nor is it the worst thing she even goes through, but to say it leaves her unaffected would be incorrect

And now the (much cooler) legacyverse version Fusion is in flow (i think it fits with flow since flow is basically just the source of change and the best way to deal with surprising changes is to go with the flow) and The Crystal element is in balance for basically the same reason as Amber and Harumi gets to be also gets to be the Temporary mvp of balance as she is both balancing her self and Lloyd so good for her

Tried making the colors as show accurate as possible while also trying to make every element stand out with its own color (i feel your pain with all the pink/purple ones) and giving some of the new elements symbols The white space is room for any future elements that we will probably (100% will) get introduced too in DR (i tried making the ninja's and crystal element fill both middle spaces but it looked weird) Also I used the show's tech symbol the design stood out more to me and it even follows abstract base compass rule that the derivative and merge element symbols have (although a bit differently but i guess you can always fill in the dots or put another one into it) idk how to make that work for reflex though As for why Lloyd's part has the Devourer/Epsilon symbol, I just like it more honestly (maybe epsilon guilt tripped him with puppy dog eyes to be on this iteration) and now here is the show version with labeled elements

(Glep is short for: Green Life Energy Power, because what better name is there for lloyd's powers then all of them) The elemental compass is one of the most creative thing's I've seen the fandom make for lore and it handles the elements with so much care that the show is just now trying to even come close too (although you're symbols will always be better then theirs) so thank you for inspiring me to make this

I loooove the symbols for the other DR elements so much, especially Size and Balance and even Surface Tension! They're canon in my heart now

I do agree the show's symbol for Tech is better by a MILE (and I do hope we get something better for Fusion too, I literally just took the shape off Geo's overshirt jacket thing which is why it's so detailed)

I love the stained-glass arrangement for the elements, very nice touch (with even spare room for potential future elements! good thinking lol)

so with strike being out for a while i have some libber questions (sorry about the bad images)

before you said that how her elemental ability manifested she couldnt fly but could only levitate stuff she charged with her powers but strike actually does have her flying

along with that what do you think of her main use of lighting being calling down lightning from the sky (girl thinks shes storm) do you think its an ease of use thing or her being unpredictable (maybe how her surprise derivate manifests) or just to look cool along with it having a wide area of effect

also in an unrelated note in this scene in season 2 would this count as jay tapping into lloyd elemental ability or is it just him doing the same general idea

Well if she's always calling down lightning like that in that specific manner, then it's not very surprising, but I'm sure ease of use is a factor, especially for a large area of effect like you said rather than the direct precision strikes like Jay often does. Looking cool also more than likely plays a part adfghjhgfd

As Jay cannot tap into Lloyd's elemental ability I think that's just him making an electric force field (boi thinks he's Skylor with that level of copying adfghjhgfd)

Adding on to that other ask about the Elemental Dragons being Elemental Powers taking shape outside their user's soul, what if Dragon Form or Draconis Form or whatever is the Element outside the soul and overlapping with the physical body, like wearing a suit of Elemental dragon armor? I imagine it being so difficult to master because instead of your Element being 1 to 1 with only your soul, it would have to be 1 to 1 with mind, body, and soul to master it properly (or something to that effect)

That would add credence to the magic transformation sequence if nothing else

So in legacyverse Lloyd has that power where he can connect with and feel the emotions and elemental powers with those he has a close bond with. What’s the range with that? Does there need to be a two way relationship or does Lloyd just need to have a close bond but not the other way around?

I ask because (even though it’s not gonna be for a while and it probably won’t play out exactly like the show) the core four get stranded in another realm, and for a while everyone thinks they’re dead. Later on Zane loses his memory and becomes the Ice Emperor under the influence of the FS scroll, and in a theoretical DR!legacyverse Jay goes further and shatters his soul. Would Lloyd feel these events happening, or would he be oblivious to them because of their lost memories?

A two-way bond is preferable, but if Lloyd cares about the other person enough, the bond persists. Also, this isn't exclusive to just Elemental Masters; its anyone Lloyd's bonded with/has a relationship with. EMs just get extra perks obviously hgfdfghgfdsdfgh

(Skylor has a similar ability that IS designated just for EMs, but she doesn't have to be personally close with them either)

As for the range, being in a different realm would be the same as reading as 'no longer being around' so Lloyd could potentially interpret that as the other party being dead. But when the realms merge, everyone is in 'one place', so no matter how far away, Lloyd would still feel even a faint pulse of their existence, hence his ability to hold out hope that he would see the others again after the Merge (...and the wonky shenanigans with Wu's ghost-- like he can obviously sense the presence, but it's clear Wu isn't 'here' anymore either)

As for losing memories, if there's a big emotional response from the party in question, then Lloyd might be able to feel something, but given that it also 'resets' the bond on behalf of the other party, the connection wouldn't nearly be as strong either.

But it's not like someone loses their memories somehow and Lloyd suddenly keels over with a heart attack four realms away sfghjkhgf

There is something to be said about how Water takes the path of least resistance and Fire burns straight through kindling.

I dont know if that makes sense but my point is Water avoids strife and Fire seeks out strife. Like Water's path is determined by what's easiest to get through, and Fire's path is determined by what's in the way.

Nya always takes the path of least strife, what's easy comes to her naturally, but once she meets that barrier, she is unable to keep eroding that rock.

Kai always burns straight through everything, he (almost) always stays true to himself and what he wants (Or at least what he thinks he wants), despite who it hurts or if it hurts himself. Kai can only keep going under the exact right amount of pressure, too much and he gets smothered, too little and he explodes out of control.

Also this applies to Jay somewhat, Lightning also takes the path of least resistance, but with Lightning it's less about the journey and more about the endpoint, he's not avoiding strife on purpose, he's just focused on getting to the endpoint he wants. Also a part of why Jay and Nya work so well together, both of them take the path of least resistance. Also why Jay doesn't like to fight back against Chad, it's not about right now, it's about the endpoint, and getting to that endpoint with as little strife as possible.

Legacyverse headcannons for Source Dragons:

First elements created came from Motion, Strength, Focus, and Energy. Then, Balance, Flow, and Life helped them to add more elements to make original Compass (without outliers yet).

Motion, Strength, Focus, and Energy, using their right as the first ones who made elements, made both Creation and Destruction essences. Originally, they wanted to make only Creation, but they didn't want to mess with Balance, so they made its opposite right on spot.

But the Balance still interfered: he cut (normal/mortal) dragon's access to Destruction, and created Oni to wield it.

Life, Flow, and Balance decided to add something more, but they started to have some disagreement. In the end, Life manifested FSM as someone who would use Creation and Destruction to help, well, the life to thrive in all realms.

Since Flow had beef with Life, she created Wojira, creature of chaos that would not let the life thrive around, and created first 2 outliers for this: Water and Wind. However, later she reasoned with Life, so she passed these 2 elements to Nyad and the first master of Wind to stop Wojira (same must defeat the same).

Dragon of Balance is a type that loves to follows the rules, but can be a jerk that uses rules to mess with you when you're on his bad side. That's why most of the Source dragons dislike him. So, he knew that there must be something that must oppose FSM, and since he's a jerk, he created Overlord for this. Also, while FSM was battling Overlord, Flow and Life were fighting with Balance, and because of some metaphysical injuries, last 2 Ninjago Outliers, Time and Amber, were manifested.

Source Dragons like to peek on work of others to make a new Elemental Power. That's why we have Form and Size, Surface Tension and Water, Earth and Quake, Reflex and Speed. Sometimes, new powers can be done to spite another dragon, for example, Crystal and Amber (well, this one on the wrapping up stage) were created by Balance to mock Life's Green Element of Life Energy Power, while Surface Tension was manifested by Strength because he doesn't like Jesse as Cole's love interest (so he needed to have revenge on Flow; btw, he's cool with Geo, it's just because he thinks Jesse is a weak match to someone of his champions).

Life decided to leave the Council in S3 finale because they have depression after every threat that happened to the living creatures. They don't see any sense of trying again if there's always something that wants to harm the life. Hopefully, Lloyd will talk to them, and his experience will make them to reconsider and find a new motivation.

The idea of the Source Dragons trying to out compete w/ one another and that's why we've got some of the more ridiculous outcomes of elements is hilarious, and Balance creating the Overlord is insanely based actually (but damn did Jesse need to catch those strays ahjhhddsdfhjh)
