7 weeks post op:

last bandaid fell off! everything is looking good and healthy.

still have some stitches sticking out...I accidentally pulled one out because I thought it was a hair ._. ew

I can sleep on both sides but still tender near drain holes and some parts of my ribs.

swollen and numb in some areas, I have a bit of a lump on one side so I really hope its just swollen still but Dr bowman said everything is looking really fantastic so I’m not worried about revisions.

2 weeks top surgery post op! 

Updates:

I tapped that air pocket to much so I got a big bruise (the only bruise I got so far from surgery...I mean I got in a fistfight at a bar HAHA 

Drains came out a few days ago and I never felt so FREE but the incision sites are much more sore now

I got a blister hole from the bandage tape so I might have to get a few stitches next week

one of my incisions is looking a little dark, flat and crusty...I can’t really make out any shapes so I hope under all that is something pink 

It might take some time for me to show photo results I’m still a little self-conscious about it but I try one day for documentation and resource purpose.

The drains are out and I finally got to see my chest. It was an amazing moment. I didn’t know how I would feel or react. I’ve seen a huge difference in reactions from other people on YouTube. For me it was like a sort of calm came over me. A feeling of being right. I felt content. It was like my mind and body finally weren't disagreeing with each other The nurse said everything is looking really good. She said it was a nice contour multiple times. I’m still a bit swollen but not too bad and only have a tiny bit of bruising. The nipples are scabbed but looking good. I’ll see Dr. Bowman for a follow-up on January 4th.

I called Dr. Bowman’s office since I hadn’t heard and she was really great. I’m number 12 on the list but apparently there are about seven people ahead of me who currently can’t have it so in reality I’m much closer than 12. 

They are working on the schedule right now and will hopefully be able to call me soon for a date. It’s looking good for November or December!!!!!

I HAD MY CONSULTATION FOR TOP SURGERY! It went really well and I’m a good candidate for a peri-areloar so minimal incisions and a great chance that I’ll regain most, if not all, nipple sensation BUT have a higher chance for a revisions (that can be done when I’m awake apparently ._.) ALSO I thought the wait was 3-6 months after the consultation but its now 6-12 months wait SO BACK TO THE WAITING GAME~ 

OTHER NEWS: I got these great jogger shorts and bless pants with elastic waist and drawstrings ;_;
