Maddison Emmerson Alvez is a girl who was born with a Romanian father and a Spanish Mother, her mother, Emmerson gave her daughter her last name due to her father not truly being in the picture, so what was the point of naming her child after someone who never truly cared about her? Emmerson was no saint either, the 30 year old woman at the time had found out about the adulatory that her husband had committed so she took the new born child and fled for the heart and soul of America, which was Seattle. This is where she also left her daughter, the woman who was corrupted by drugs, sex and rock and roll left her on the door-step of the nearest fire station.
And almost twenty-five years later Maddison found herself working at Seattle Grace Hospital as a surgical intern. The same year as Meredith Grey, George O’Malley, Cristina Yang, Isobel Stevens and Alexander Karev. along with other members of her intern group she found her place, where she was meant to be. even though she was younger then the rest of her group she was just as good as them,
As the years went on she lost and gained people in her life whilst being at Seattle Grace, the first major loss was her close friend George O’Malley. she was the one who rode in the back of the rig with him as they were sped down to the hospital, it wasn’t until she had finished crying that she told them it was O’Malley. George saved a girls life and lost his because of it.
Then the shooting happened, and Charles was killed, and she had to help keep her best-friend bleeding out on the porcelain floor of the elevator of the main level of the hospital. That day is when she relaised that she was in love with Alexander Michael Karev.
The two got together almost a year after the shooting happened, it was all well for the first few months but when Maddison fell pregnant with Alex’s child she didn’t know what to do, but another two amazing offers came her way; one she was offered the role of chief resident and two she was offered a position at a different hospital in Chicago- well trauma center really. she had three major choices to choose from and with everything that had just happened with alex she chose the option that was best for her and that was to move to Chicago. it was one of the best choices that she had ever made.
Before she went though Mark went with her to the appointment with her and he drove her to the airport and saw her off. mark was one of the only people who she spoke to besides Owen.
11 months she was in Chicago and she was at the top of her game, everything was good for her until she received a call from Owen needing her for a case that Seattle Grace were assisting in Boise.
This was when it all went to shit, the plane crashed and they lost Lexie along with Mark just a month after the crash, that was another person in her life that she had lost.

Georgia-Mae Madej was the youngest of five girls but was the light of her fathers eyes. she grew up being the odd one out of the family, even though that she did become a neurological and cardiothoracic surgeon- she was different in the way that she dealt with everything. Like the rest of her sisters she was smart, and book smart at that, but she was something different. Like her cousin Derek Shepherd she was a head of her time,
After the internship, and residentsy she was contacted by the one and only Harper Avery, one of the best surgeons in the entire country, Harper wanted the young doctor to do a fellowship under his wing and this was all well and good until her second year, this is when the abuse started it was something that she had never experienced ever before in her life and she didn’t know what to do until she finally went to Catherine Avery and demanded that she be let go of the program. And Catherine did let her go.. eventually but that didn’t come without repercussions; one being that she was never allowed to work at an Avery hospital again and 2 she was to never tell anyone about Harper and the way that he acted with her. This caused her to go down a dark path, one just like her cousin, Amelia Shepherd.
The two were more like sisters then cousins growing up, they were what they needed growing up to keep calm within all of the chaos. The choices that she made after leaving the hospital in Boston were nothing of what god would see a good, it was not until she was a flyer for the US army in a gas station did she think that maybe she could become something of herself again.
this is where she met, Teddy Altman, Owen Hunt, Megan Hunt, Nathan Riggs and Aaron Rodgers the first man who she had ever loved in her life. Like Amelia he was her calm in the chaos.
Aaron Rodgers was the man of her dreams, over the course of the eighteen months that they were stationed together they spent times falling utterly and endlessly in love with one another. but all happiness comes to an end right??
When they returned home, they were engaged and a small ceremony was held for the two and they were happily married. but that did not last long, due to a heart condition that he has made him meet his end,
Aaron Rodgers passed away during an emergency heart bypass surgery, and that was the worst day of Georgia-Mae’s life.
After this she moved back to New York and lived with Teddy until she knew that she would be able to get back to work fulltime, and she did within six months of her being in New York, she needed to work to be able to live a stable life due to the area that she lived in New York. And so she finally got back to the hospital that had been wanting her for years finally, and from there she became the chief of Neuro again. Her life was now in order, or so she thought.
When she got the call that derek had died her entire life was reformed once again, but then when she had found out that he had left her his place at Grey-Sloan memorial she was shaken, why her? and not Amelia? Everyone knew that Georgia and Derek loved one another like siblings more then cousins, they are the equal to one another, not only was she co-chief of neuro she was the co-chief of Cardio- per Chief Bailey’s request of course.
Three years later and two new Ortho surgeons were brought to her new home and she did not relasie that she was going to fall in love with one of them, like true doctor love the two finally shared their feelings for one another at a conference that she had no idea that Atticus was talking at.

athena burton is the twin sister of henry burton who was married to her work college teddy altman for a while, due to the fact that henry’s medical insurances was almost out and the FDA was not allowing athena to put her name down on the insurance anymore. athena was not for the marriage at all- but she knew that it was going to help her brother with what he needed. medical issues run in the Burton family but that has never stopped athena. at the age of ten the girl was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and was told from that age that she was never going to be able to follow her life’s dreams but she did.
Athena was the top of her resident class and was chief resident at Boston Medical Centre. But with the role there was stress and a lot there was. But she was able to get through it all with the help of her peers and her brother, Henry of course.
Her second year as an attending she was contacted by Chief Dr. Owen Hunt of Seattle Grace Mercy West Hospital, they were in need of another person to help run to Neurological department due to how big it was continuing to grow, she was co-chief along side Dr. Derek Shepherd and from there it was history. The first year she worked there George O’Malley was hit by a bus and a life was lost, at the end of that year there was a shooter in the hospital and Athena was shot, she was saved by Cristina Yang. It was a shot that was meant for Dr. Shepherd but Athena was not about to let her boss die right before her, she was willing to have her own life taken, but that did not happen.
This was the first time that she had seen Jackson Avery cry, over the course of the year and half the two had become slightly close, with her bipolar she was scared to make new friends and get close to people. But when she got shot Jackson realised then that she meant more to him, even if he was with lexi at the time.
