I'm a super good reader/writer; scored >collage on ELA/reading level tests starting in 6th grade

I'm here because I was institutionalized when I was 15 (for anorexia, I'm recovered I don't try to hide my past) and my nurse while I was there made me want to do psychology, unfortunately the field was pretty taxing for my mental and physical health so I took a job as a lab tech here and just spend most of my time in the clinic helping comfort and treat people

I celebrate both Hanukkah and Christmas because my father's side is Christian and my mother's is jewish

for the majority of my childhood/teen years I wanted to be a lawyer

I am transgender, I also do not try to hide that, and I run an organization on the side that helps other Trans people get gender affirming care

I obsessively give gifts so don't be surprised when trinkets or baked goods show up in your office (if you're nice to me, that is)

I have a cat, a maincoon, who is fully trained to hold props between her paws so every holiday we do a costume and prop photoshoot [ooc - I will actually draw said pictures for holidays if yall want]

I frequently learn how to build/install things so my office and break room both have some cool furniture and features that others don't (such as a heated desk chair in my office, lights that can dim in both rooms, and a Nintendo switch 2 in my breakroom

currently wearing two compression bras because my dysphoria is killing me

this is painful

I also have made the discovery that I might perchance have dents in my collarbones from the straps of my compression bras

that is not good

I am still dying

nothing is actually working tho
