Dr Morose, based on the evil scientist character from various classic cartoons, is a techno-biologist who was disgraced after his inhumane experiments were uncovered. When the meteor struck Acmetropolis, his brain swelled immensely, granting him super human intelligence as well as telekinesis. He quickly got to work fusing technology and biology, creating monstrosities like No.46. His manifesto is to create a new world of tecno-biological people who are all subservient to him. Most of the villains in the rewrite are pretty comedic, and he is too, but he's probably the darkest character in the lineup.
