Frankie was the first idea I had, and I kinda wanted to make him a Puma or a Jaguar at first, or something equally slinky, but I Couldn't get the image of his wongs being his Cape out of my head. He endears me so much, I love him, defo one of my favorites of the batch. He also gets my Classic Transylvanian Yellow Eyes. I don't know where I got that they had Yellow eyes, they just Do to me.

When I thought about Riff, I wasn't exactly sure what to make him. The words Bald Eagle came to mind, but Bald Eagles are not Bald, and they're wayyy too majestic for him. Then I started thinking about how Agile Richard O' Brien is, and it called to mind the image of some kind of skittish Alley Cat that bites you, and the design just sort of appeared on the page. I love him a lot, but that's not surprising coming from Riff Raff SuperFan Number 1 (He also has a hidden Transylvanian Lightning Bolt on his tail hehe)

Magenta's Design followed Riff's pretty closely, I wanted them both to be Cats, since they're siblings, but I also felt Magenta has the vibe of one of those Pretty Cats that Knows they're pretty. She also needed to be a little Slinky, for fun. Might redraw her sometime and push more of the things I wanted originally, I'm not super happy with her... (She has a hidden Transylvanian Lightning Bolt in her hair!)

Now THIS one was a LOT of fun!! Columbia is a Cordon Bleu Finch ! This was suggested by a very good friend of mine (SHOUTOUT IX I LOVE YOU!!!!), because these little critters Tap Dance as a mating dance!!! So of course, she needed to be the Tap Dancing Bird. As someone who loved Rio as a little kid, drawing an Anthropomorphic bird semi-well has been a dream of mine too, so this was a REALLY fun one. She's so glittery... I didn't go with the original colors of the Cordon Bleu, because she just. Did not look very good. Sorry, Bird Lovers!

The Biggest and Baddest (Kindest...) right in the middle!! Rocky Horror is, of course, a Liger!! A Freak of Science!! I love him a lot, he is a very sweet big cat to me. This worked slightly better when Frank was still a Feline, but I couldn't give up making Rocky a Liger, so we're keeping it. It was also fun to have his Stripes sort of Mimic where I would put Stitches on his Regular Design. This design was one of the easiest ones, there is no question in my mind that he would look like this. I could've made him buffer, though...

Eddie was a design I was very nervous about, mostly because I didn't really... Have any ideas about him? Originally, I wanted to make him a Hog of some kind, but it felt... a little weird to make the only canonically Fat character into a pig, so I thought about it a little more, and found out he Really fit being a Hyena! Just imagining him riding down the road on his bike, cackling all the way... He's one of the ones I'm happiest with, along with Frank and Riff.

Brad Majors, Ding Dong, Asshole Calling! Of course, he had to be a Donkey, because I cannot resist a Cheap Joke. Though, as I drew him, I started finding him Really Cute, so it all works out. Just.. Don't take his glasses off, it makes him Look Weird. I resisted drawing him in his Underwear, because I wanted to show off his outfit... Maybe in the future...

It Hasn't been raining, but it's still Janet Veiss Weiss! The Same friend that suggested Columbia's animal made me aware of the ELITE PICK that it would be to make Janet into a Hare! Originally, she was going to be a Dog, along with Brad, but the Hare was just too good a design opportunity. I like to think people often mistake her for a Bunny, and she prefers being seen as one, even if that means smoothing out her Edges...

He's Old! I had no real ideas for him, I... may or may not have forgotten he Existed for a while. He's the one that got the Hog Treatment (Technically a Boar), since I just couldn't get the image of his snout having a little mustache, and his little glasses... So I just did that and it turned out.. in the way it did.
