Never kill yourself. You may one day compose one (1) piano song & have completed an entire soundtrack for 1 doctor show
One educational TV drama and 1 billion things that can go wrong during (or after) pregnancy.
Every birth is a miracle
Kounodori or Dr Stork is a TV drama about a maternity clinic. Unlike other hospital dramas, its focus is on the mothers / babies and plenty of things that can go wrong. Every episode gives you an inside on a different matter.
Like I said, it's education. The doctors, nurses etc (who seem to live there) do get a bit of a story but not as much as in Grey's Anatomy or so.
Main character is Kounodori Sakura, an OB - GYN who puts his whole heart into his job. (And is also a popular pianist, who's identity is unknown) One of his colleagues, Shinomiya Haruki, is a more rational guy who sticks to facts.
Sounds familiar? The reason I watched all two seasons of this show are the actors portraying these guys: Hoshino Gen & Ayano Go:
Afaik, they met on this show and got along very well from the start. They got a few more scenes together in season 2. (Some with room for interpretation, in my opinion...)
I loved how they quietly swapped food in one scene. They're so cute.
But as I said, the focus is on the mother's (and sometimes father's) stories.
And holy moly, a lot can go wrong and pregnancy is not always the happy event society makes you believe it is. I knew that before and I was happy about the realist approach from this show about this subject.
If you're interested: it's on Netflix. :)
Hey! I really appreciate them showing the A&E doctor doing CPR with straight arms & locked elbows! None of the chicken wing flapping
Minus points for not interlocking his fingers though
