One of the really odd things about representation is how difficult it is too understand the significance of it until you experience it yourself. Like I never realised that I needed to see a casually pansexual protagonist until I watched Schitts Creek, and felt like this huge aspect of my personality basically wake up. It was like one of those islands in inside out, which had been laying dormant, just lit up all of a sudden. The same thing goes for watching Jodie Whittaker be the doctor. I have admired every incarnation of this character, and strived to emulate them, and suddenly that seemed like a thing I could honest to goodness do. More than that, it felt like something I was already doing - I didn’t have to try and be like her, because I already was. That’s just in TV, I can’t really comprehend how it must feel to be represented like that in parliament, or in a boardroom. And it’s so shitty because I’m a middle class white gal who honestly is pretty well represented most of the time, like how can I really comprehend how demoralising it is for non-binary people of colour, or working class nuerodivergent folk to not have that anywhere ever. Which also makes it all the more impressive that these people are still leading their fights, like they’re literally being their own David Rose’s, but also their own Pankhurst sisters, their own Harvey Milks. It is just very fucking impressive, and I really hope that one day everyone gets to feel the power of being properly represented.

I think the only way I would start watching Dr Who again was if Betty White was his companion

This is a collab by Megan Lara and Omega Man 5000! We based it off of a Captain Morgan poster. It's jam packed full of Doctor Who references, so I hope you all like it!
I don't see a lot of Captain Jack artwork out there, so I was glad to finally be able to do one. The idea was all Harry's though. <3
HE SEEMS SO LOVELY YES I LOVE THE NEW DOCTOR:’)
I’d love to do something that sends adults behind the sofa too and makes them weep
Holy crap I can't stop crying Dr Who's speech to Alfie was just the cutest thing
