Ok so it's been a while since I've posted about this dr, and I kind of miss it, and idk I guess I've been feeling romantic lately so I've decided to post a little about what my dynamic will be like with my two love interests in my Elodia dr.

Also, I'm doing a lot of editing with my script for this dr. Not a full rework, that'll take a LOT longer, but I'm making a few formatting changes, and adding quite a few more things, most notably a bunch more people (I think I'm at like 25-ish full profiles now), and one or two new kingdoms. And maybe a few more things, who knows. Because I kinda wanna start getting a lot more detailed with my scripts. Idk, maybe I'm just reading too much of @reyaint's stuff (because they get insanely detailed and it's AMAZING). But anyways, I'll make a post when I've finally fully updated the actual template.

In the early stages of our relationship, the dynamic between Soren and I is marked by reluctance and misunderstandings. Soren is resistant from the start—he never wanted this assignment and doesn’t trust nobles, assuming I'm just another spoiled royal playing at humility to earn sympathy. Despite my behavior contradicting his assumptions, he convinces himself it’s all an act.

Meanwhile, I'm unsure of myself and uncomfortable with the idea of giving orders, uncertain of how to navigate having a personal guard. I do my best to be polite, but Soren’s standoffish demeanor makes things difficult.

Our interactions become a quiet push and pull: I, soft-spoken and hesitant, offer kindness that Soren meets with sarcasm and clipped responses. I thank him; he shrugs it off. I attempt small talk; he shuts it down. At first, it seems like I may have made a mistake—Soren is rough, informal, and offers none of the deference expected from a royal guard.

But then, something shifts.

There are a few small moments that build up to this realization—my discomfort with luxury, my quiet resilience, my tendency to observe rather than command—but the defining moment happens when he catches me in a place I shouldn’t be.

One night, he finds me in the servants' quarters, sitting with a young maid, helping mend a torn cloak. At first, he assumes I’m just wandering—maybe lost, maybe curious. But then he sees the way the servants aren’t uncomfortable around me. The way they talk to me normally, not with forced deference. The way I listen, really listen, to their stories. That’s the moment it clicks.

Kids like to ride turtle boats in lakes-- these boats are relatively cheap and are reusable. Sometimes, mermaids/mermen may approach these boats to trade seashells and other sea knickknacks with the children.

Speaking of kids, in most regions of eudora, kids can freely roam around villages and cities without worrying about getting mugged or encountering some kinda crime.

There are a few tales that are well known throughout the empire-- BUT-- there are many more tales in different towns, kingdoms, and cities that are unique to each region. Sometimes there's a very clear purpose to these stories, like encouraging kids to head home before dark, but other times, somebody probably just felt rlly creative one day.

the book and the fox: A fox wanted to write a story, but spent too much thought into binding the book and ensuring the outside looked pretty. The fox never wrote a single sentence down. He was so engrossed in making the book that he had forgotten his story entirely. To encourage the fox to write, the book talked to the fox, filling his head with stories. To the book's dismay, the fox never got to writing. Instead, he'd plead the book to tell him one more story. The book urged the fox to fill his pages with his own story, and then it'd tell the fox another story for each chapter he finished, but the fox refused-- what's the point of writing his story when the book had better stories? And so, in anger, the book never spoke another word. idk I thought it was tale-y and kinda cute

world generation-- MAX

Floating islands aren't terribly rare, they're more common near mountains and high altitudes. There are usually some kind of ruins on these islands; you’ll prob go to a few of them. Islands that are located at really high altitudes are likely not floating through natural means + you cannot fly up to these islands with your dragons leisurely. Flying up here with your dragon straight up without any breaks can cause some breathing issues; fainting can occur— not sure you’d want your dragon to faint on you when you’re in the sky lmaoo 😭😭😭

There are also things like tidepools, which are often frequented by mermaids when the tide is high. Some aquatic creatures like to lay their eggs here; I'd collect an egg or so for potions and stuff-- the goop inside the eggs is pretty useful. I would recommend you either hatch the animal inside the egg instead of like, uh, killing it 😭 or take a nonviable egg. Nonviable eggs will float in water rather than sink.

Sweetgum alpine forests are full of rich red vegetation. The trees here produce sap that is chewy, gummy, and sweet. The sugar is extracted from these trees and powdered to make nutty desserts, and the remaining unsweetened sap is used to make gum wax (referenced here).

Alunovia Woodlands are vibrant in the spring and summer. These trees bear translucent ghostly white fruit within their woven trunk. The rind of the fruit does actually peek out of the thickets (also like the tree almost looks messily braided- very diff from how trees look in this reality). I would insert the little drawing I've made of the fruit, but tumblr is cockblocking me 😭😔

genetics

Blue IS a thing-- but it isn't common; it's about as rare as true ginger hair. Blue hair is more common for sky island-faring folk, especially Aielles.

Blue hair is thought to come from merfolk since it's quite common for them to have marine colored hair.

Darker colors are more common than lighter colors; it's also more common to have duller blue hair than a more saturated or vibrant blue tone.

White and gray hair is typically accompanied by gray or light blue eyes. I'd say white hair is slightly less common than blonde hair. Most people with stark white hair also have super wavy or coily hair; naturally straight white hair is incredibly rare.

White hair used to be considered unattractive, but with the Lancaster brothers' rise in popularity, white hair is now considered to be ethereally beautiful.

Green hair is also a thing, but it's still generally considered not the most attractive, especially on lighter-toned skin. Most people who have green hair try to tan or tint their hair brown. Green hair is slightly less common than light brown hair.

Amber eyes are pretty rare, like about as rare as green eyes. Not sure what else to say about em tbh 😭😭 In some languages, amber eyes are referred to as 'molten lightning' or 'molten gold'.

Red eyes are slightly rarer than blue eyes-- specifically, dark red eyes. Lighter red eyes (like the one in the middle) are a lot rarer. Red eyes are considered unlucky in some parts of Eudora. Lighter red eyes are often referred to as 'blazing red'.

White eyes, if not accompanied by white hair, are extremely rare. If you do ever see someone with white eyes, it'll pretty much always be on a person with coily white hair.

secluded private schools

I rlly wanna do a whole post on these honestly; the stuff I have on it is pretty interesting! You need to pay to attend these schools, hence why they're private, and you need to take an entrance exam to get in. Most of these schools are fine, but some encourage their students to participate in some questionable behavior...

Not all of these private schools are catered to just regular K-12 schooling, I'd say most are, but some are rider schools. It's illegal to create a rider school without applying for a handful of licenses, your teachers need to be screened, and you'll need to send in reports of your students' progression. There's more to it than that, but yk it's not easy to fake a whole school.

Nefarious private rider schools often teach kids unsustainable behavior (like shitting over towns, yes, I'm being serious 😭 you will get fined for that btw-- AND the fine considers your income, so even if you're a noble with 1,000,000 in ur pockets, a fine of 30% is 300,000 marks). Other than shitting mid-air, some schools encourage dragons to compete in a more animalistic manner. These dragons have a really hard time fitting into the general dragon society + it can encourage tamed dragons to mingle with wild dragons. This is far worse than you think it is. They are far more likely to have a strained bond with their rider and will refuse to answer to authority.

Wild domesticated dragons are almost impossible to re-tame.

It's imperative that these dragons are exterminated.

from birth, Aeryn showed signs of her connection to the Sentinel - her heterochromatic eyes (one forest green-jade, one light blue-purple) were considered a mark of cosmic blessing on Aerisyl, and the white streak in her otherwise dark hair was reminiscent of a shooting star against the night sky.

as princess, Aeryn received comprehensive education in royal duties, diplomacy, and the arts from her father, King Dusan. he recognized her sharp mind and encouraged her studies in history and ancient texts, often bringing her rare manuscripts from across the magical dimension.

Queen Elysra, a formidable warrior herself, personally trained Aeryn in Aerisyl's traditional combat arts, focusing on the elegant but lethal Void Dance style that complemented her daughter's natural grace. the queen also instructed Aeryn in the basics of cosmic magic, though the full extent of her powers would not manifest until adolescence.

her older brother, Prince Alarion (five years her senior), doted on his little sister. he had inherited strong cosmic abilities himself, though his manifested differently - where Aeryn connected to stars and celestial energy, Alarion had an affinity for cosmic beasts and creatures. he taught her to communicate with and respect the animals of their realm, eventually helping her form a bond with a rare winged lioness cub she named Siofra.

the Netras family had served as loyal allies to the Valdaeryn royal family for generations. their daughter, Evryn Anthelia Netras, was just a year older than Aeryn, and the two girls became inseparable companions. where Aeryn was connected to the stars and light, Evryn's powers developed with an affinity for shadow and earth magic - complementary forces that created perfect balance when they trained together.

the girls spent countless hours exploring the palace grounds, practicing combat moves in the royal gardens, and stargazing from the highest tower. they developed a secret language of hand signals and created enchanted friendship bracelets that would warm slightly when the other was nearby.

when Aeryn was nine years old, disaster struck. a mysterious dark force attacked Aerisyl, specifically targeting the royal palace. unlike the direct assault on Domino by the Ancestral Witches years earlier, this attack was subtle and insidious. dark energy began corrupting the cosmic keystones that helped maintain Aerisyl's protective barriers, causing magical disruptions across the planet.

King Dusan and Queen Elysra soon discovered the terrible truth - the attackers were after Aeryn specifically, seeking to capture the newest bearer of the Sentinel's power. the attack coincided with a rare cosmic event that temporarily weakened the Sentinel's protection, making Aeryn vulnerable.

the night of the final assault, chaos engulfed the palace. Queen Elysra fought valiantly against shadow creatures while King Dusan prepared an emergency portal to Earth - a non-magical planet where their enemies would have difficulty tracking Aeryn's magical signature.

in their final moments together, Alarion rushed to Aeryn's chambers, finding his little sister terrified but trying to be brave. he placed his royal necklace around her neck - a celestial sapphire pendant that contained a hidden enchantment.

"This will help us find each other again," he whispered, pressing his forehead to hers. "And this will help us speak across the stars." he handed her a small leather-bound journal with cosmic symbols embossed on its cover. "Write to me whenever you can. I'll always answer."

before they could say more, Queen Elysra burst into the room, her royal armor damaged and her face streaked with soot. "They've breached the inner sanctum. We must send her now."

the portal to Earth was hastily opened. the last thing Aeryn saw of her home was her brother's face, his hand raised in farewell, as the swirling magic engulfed her. the journey was turbulent and traumatic - the portal had been disrupted mid-transport, causing Aeryn to crash-land in a snowy forest on Earth, injured and disoriented.

a kind family discovered the injured girl lying in the snow. they were concerned and confused about her strange clothes and the unusual pendant around her neck, but they took her to a hospital and eventually adopted her when no relatives came forward. while the trauma of her escape had not erased her memories as it had with Bloom, Aeryn quickly realized she needed to hide her true nature on this non-magical world.

she adapted to Earth customs remarkably well, though she maintained certain habits from home - practicing combat moves in private, studying the stars whenever possible, and writing in her enchanted journal to communicate with Alarion. through these exchanges, she learned that her parents had survived the attack but that Aerisyl was under a magical siege, with dark forces controlling access to the realm. Alarion had been forced into hiding with a resistance group, making his messages sometimes sporadic.

Aeryn grew into a reserved but confident teenager. she excelled academically but kept to herself, aware that she didn't truly belong in this world. her adoptive parents, while loving, couldn't understand her occasional slips - mentions of creatures that didn't exist on Earth, or her instinctive reaching for magic in startling situations.

through these journal conversations, she learned that her brother had married Lyra, a powerful fairy from another noble family, and that together they were leading the resistance against the lingering dark forces. Alarion also informed her that her friend Evryn had been sent to a prestigious combat school in another realm for her protection, as the Netras family had also been targeted during the attack.

when Aeryn was sixteen, she noticed a new girl at school with strikingly red hair who seemed somehow... different. unlike other humans, this girl had an energy about her that reminded Aeryn of home. during a difficult science class, Aeryn watched the redhead struggle with an experiment that was about to go wrong. she intervened, helping correct the mixture before it could cause a problem.

"Thanks," the girl said with a grateful smile. "I'm Bloom." "Aeryn," she replied, immediately feeling a strange connection.
