So in your headcanon does the whole Green with Evil story still play out? (Rita, or another villain, brainwash and turn Tommy into the green ranger to fight the others. But eventually Tommy shakes the mind control, with the help of the rangers, and joins the larger group to fight the bad guys)
I left out the Angst™ out of those headcanons but I live for it so OH YES, DEFINITELY. This was all (except the first meeting part, obviously) set after the fallout of the brainwashing thing.
