Tracy Yardley paces the story like its a film, with cutaways to a different scene (represented by different panels), and I really like it. The story may not be the best, but damn does it make you feel invigorated reading it, seeing the Battle Lord monologue as it cuts to Sonic running!

Wave takes out a bird bot and its honestly pretty crazy-awesome. I like how this issue shows how competent the Rogues can be in-battle.

That face just says "Seriously? Your robots were beaten by a SNOWBALL?"

Ooh, I guess having the issue artist also be the writer was a good experiment. I fricking love pages like where the panels tell the story on visuals alone, with little use of dialogue.

The Battle Lord looks a bit like he has big googly eyes due to the colouring through and it put me off a tad. xD But its still a really neatly-drawn page!

Also...does the bird scientist’s computer make “bird tweet” sounds when there’s an alarm..??

And so ends this fun ride of an arc. I enjoyed reviewing this one, it used the characters really nicely too.
