Sonic is fricking PISSED, but I like that we see a more jaded side to him. He HAS lost his love interest and is kind of on edge right now and its totally justified.

Yep, just like in Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity, the plot twist is that the Babylonians, the Rogues and everyone in the Battle Bird Armada are descended from aliens from across the galaxy.

And the robot also wants to destroy the planet, which NOBODY wants.

Sonic is here and he is confused as fuck.

I never thought the character of A.D.A.M would be brought up again, but here we find out the reason Nicole was able to build the nanite city. I do like all these callbacks to the villain who never got the right level of focus though, even though I still hate that ”evil blob with ‘EGG’ written on it“ design.

And so the Babylon Rogues sail off onto another crazy adventure, and Jet is as cocky as always.

Tracy Yardley paces the story like its a film, with cutaways to a different scene (represented by different panels), and I really like it. The story may not be the best, but damn does it make you feel invigorated reading it, seeing the Battle Lord monologue as it cuts to Sonic running!

You can't be called the "Babylon Rogues" if you aren't gonna be betraying your employer. xD

This looks to be the finale of the Babylon Rising story, and it certainly is rising on the cover here! They're playing up Sonic and Jet's rivalry, but I think we've seen more of Jet and SPEEDY being rivals than the blue hero...

Regardless, lets see how this story ends!
