Dr. Christoff and Dr. Hoffnar's relationship extended far beyond that of workplace symbiosis.

While that is not to say their unique habits weren't often put on display at work, ei. very much invading personal space by leaning on the other to peek at notes. An arm around the hip. Things you could overlook as a buddy-buddy ordeal... but the small comments and praises pointed otherwise.

However Nexus Tower was blessed to see not even the half of it. Save for some security cameras some poor grunt would have to look through. In the sanctity of their own homes was the worst of it. A terribly domestic display with the Nevadian flare.

Jebediah could simply not match Hoffnar's freak.

He was a plain man. Fitting pecks and wrapping his arms around Hoffnar in idle. Plucking stray string off his lab coat. Emphasizing his quiet praises with kisses on the subjects of topic. Sweet things. Not whatever Hoffnar is.

Intrusive to say the least. Unhinged in ways. Christoff understood their height was slightly vast and Hoffnar had just the way to remedy such an issue. Just grab Jeb by the collar and pull him down, arms laced around his neck and smiling like a goof. Proud of the perplexed expression he evoked out of the stoic man. He'd lick is beard for the taste of the oils he groomed it with, remark on the flavor and dive back in. Even gain the confidence to feel up Jeb's 'curves', more concave and rigid with bone than any appealing grope could be.

Jebediah could hardly tell if this was his special way of teasing or simply how weird Hoffnar is.

Phobos: The water around Nexus City is the purest in all of Nevada! It's so pure, it even makes you forget any possible traitorous thoughts you may have been having.
