Subcon Realm; Revised

The entire Wario Land series takes place within the Subcon realm.

This is Mad Scienstein he’s a character that’s appeared in Wario Land 3 and Wario Land 4 and originates from Kaeru no Tame ni Kane wa Naru or The Frog for Whom the Bell Tolls. Which as people may know is directly linked to Link’s Awakening as not only is the engine they use the same but the character Prince of Sablé appears in it also. This leads me to believe that Wario Land is set within subcon.

But that means that Dr. Mario series is also within the realm of Subcon, because Mad Scienstein is an npc that aids Wario in that game as well. Also the game Fortune Street on the Wii is part of subcon as Rudy, the bad guy from Wario Land 3 and Dr Mario 64 is referenced there.

So knowing that the timeline of Subcon goes.

Captain Syrup was referenced by Gullivarr in New Horizons but unless it leads to a new Wario Land game or appearance of her i’m tempted to just leave it as a one off shoutout.

This is quite the universe and lots of great game are within it, wonder how it will expand as the years go on.
