BFF Fries by nikka14
Baekhyun and Chanyeol are best friends since birth. Born in the same neighborhood, playing on the same playground, going to the same school, they did everything together. And as all cliche goes, one of them falls.
"Hey Yeol! You want to hang out today at McDonald's?" Baekhyun, with his bright smiles and pretty pleading eyes, asks."Is that even a question? Of course I do! After this week, my brain's dead. I need to pig out." Chanyeol dreamily sighs with the thought of burger, fries and coke to forget all their exams the past week. "Yay!" Baekhyun hopped dragging Chanyeol by his hand towards their favorite hang out place. "Oh look! They have BFF fries, let's order that one.""Sure." Chanyeol agreed thinking there's really nothing wrong with sharing the same box of fries. Really. Except. Now that they're sharing fries, sitting side by side, hands brushing lightly every now and then, Chanyeol thinks maybe it was a bad idea. His heart is fluttering every second Baekhyun reaches out for a fry, his mind goes haywire with just the thought of Baekhyun being this close to him. Not that they haven't been close before but he wasn't aware of his feelings then. Then, he attributed it to hunger, to their close friendship. But now, now he knows he won't feel this way with Sehun, who he's close friends with too, nor with Jongin who he always says he admires. Hunger won't ever feel this way. It's always gonna be only with Baekhyun. His best friend. "Hey, are you ok?" Baekhyun asked while waving a hand in front of Chanyeol's face.Chanyeol blinked and smiled at his friend. "I'm ok. No need to worry." He covered the blush on his face by reaching out for a fry. Slowly, he sees Baekhyun reach out for the same fry. Unknowingly, he reaches out for the fry only to grab Baekhyun's hand instead. Baekhyun laughs but stops when Chanyeol is still not letting his hand go. "Yeol?" "I...I wanna share more than fries with you." "Huh?""Give you my share of fries always. And my share of anything that you want." Chanyeol continues holding Baekhyun's hand but having a far away look on his face. "I want to sit beside you everyday, holding you hand just like this." Chanyeol finally looks at Baekhyun, shocking him with the intensity of his gaze."I like you. A lot." Chanyeol dips his head and kisses Baekhyun lightly. Lips softly touching, hearts slowly beating. "I think the fries had too much salt that day." Baekhyun teased Chanyeol earning him a pout from his...wait for it...boyfriend. "Yeah, I was probably drunk spouting nonsense about sharing fries with you.""Like you would share your fries with me." "I'd share anything with you, my life if you want.""But not the fries." "Nope, not the fries." The both of them laughs. Chanyeol gets a fry from their boxes and boxes of fries and feeds it to Baekhyun. "I'm willing to share one if you'll tell me how much you love me."
