Tbh, I cringe a bit when I'm trying to look up info on Gods and Goddesses and I read "[Goddess] was the goddess of...". I'm sorry, but when did Isis stop being the goddess of fertility and motherhood and just the nicest being ever??
They aren't dead and people still worship them. Just because the culture of origin stopped existing, doesn't mean their Gods died with them. They're infinite beings, always there even when you don't acknowledge them.
