They can make clothes and accessories, they can sell prints or stickers or pins, they can make tiny figurines (I LOVE tiny figurines), they can make dice, they can make something I haven't thought of, their store can even be on Etsy itself, you JUST have to be sure they're a real person who actually makes their own art.

Artists please self-promote. Non-artists please shove any stores you like at me, brag about your artists friends, and/or reblog so the artists will see this. I want you to destroy my activity page.

aw thank you for the tag! my wife and i run a small business designing and selling size inclusive, ethically made clothing.

it’s mostly skirts and dresses but we also have some button up shirts (with gussets at the sides so you can expand them for wider hips) and socks! as well as some prints and stickers now as well

Tidy CAS 2.0 - CAS category organizers

There has been this amazing cc by @sparrowcc which basically adds a bit of sorting to messy categories like Tattoos, skin details and earrings + piercings.

Since the original creator hasn’t been active in a long time and the cc needs an update to support body scars I decided to make my own version of it.

💜 How does it work?

This CC creates basically an empty CAS item with the whole purpose to mark when a new category starts. This can be useful if you have a lot of skin details for example and don’t know which ones work together as EA has not seperated the parts (e.g. forehead crease, freckles) into separate categories. This CC is not meant to be applied to a Sim and has no texture or model.

Using crucifixes against vampires is Out. This is known. Just Once I would like to see someone try and use St Hubert on a werewolf and everyone to gawk when they realize that That Actually Worked!!

(St Hubert is a saint known for curing a person of rabies. He is also known as the patron saint for protection against werewolves and in some cases invoking him could cure lycanthropy. This part of werewolf lore is centuries old but not well known and super cool.)

My current not-approved-by-the-government opinion is that im not anyone's parent and i should not be responsible for random teenagers online. If I post smth thats 'meant for adults' and its labled as such then what happens from there is literally not my problem. If a teen- who is fully capable of turning on self moderation settings on their own btw- doesn't use a site's provided self moderation settings and they see boobs or dicks then like literally whatever, its neither the end of the world or a big deal. It shouldn't fall on me or a website or a tech company to do a parent's job, and also frankly i don't think a parent should be breathing down their 16 year old's neck on the off chance they do actually want to look at tits, but thats a discussion that americans will fucking throw a fit at so maybe we'll discuss that another day in better company.

"But what about young children!!" see thats! where parents should be involved- that is to say, why are you letting your young child on the internet in the first place, you fucking idiot.

I hate parents who blame everyone else for their shitty parenting.

This post also made me think about the time a co-worker of mine mentioned how they think we need to go back to community parenting. Like, you see a child acting up in the store, you should be able to correct them without reprimand from the parent.

1) I hate hearing children throwing tantrums in public, but I dont wanna deal with someone else's brat ass kid. Thats why I dont have any!

2) How is that supposed to work?? We don't live in small communities of like-minded individuals anymore. That's why that's not a thing.
