Newt never really noticed you, with him always having his head in the clouds and with you being usually quiet in class. But one day he saw you standing up to someone and he was completely amazed by you. How is it possible for someone so small and cute to be so fierce?

Since that day he can’t stop his eyes from looking for you whenever he shares a class with the Slytherins, or in the Great Hall.

The first time he actually speaks to you, he almost faints. Really, he’s a nervous wreck. He spends the rest of the day thinking that you probably hate him. But, the more time the two of you spend together, the more you open up to him, and he can’t help but fall. Hard.

Your relationship starts slow, he’s really shy and afraid he’ll scare you off. The transition between friendship and romance comes naturally.

He loves everything about you. The way your black hair shines in the sun and the way your whole face lights up when you start talking about something you love. But most of all, he’s beyond excited when he finds out about you boxing.  At first, you have to explain to him what it consists of since he’s not acquainted with muggle sports, but once you give him a demonstration, he’s a goner. You’re a total badass in his eyes.

The two of you love to spend time together either in the forest, taking care of Newt’s newly adopted creatures and going on little adventures or in the library, enjoying each other presence in silence while holding hands.

 Once out of Hogwarts, you probably help him a lot with his creatures, and end up joining him in his adventures.

It’s no surprise that the first time the two of you meet he doesn’t waste time on hitting on you. At first you don’t really mind him, shrugging off his blatant flirting. After some time, you’re used to it. You leave him dumbfounded the first time you actually respond to his flirting (you even shoot him a wink), everyone thinks you’ve broken him.

You thought he flirted a lot before? Well, now he’s relentless.

The two of you are always bickering in a flirtatious manner. Even in the gym or during missions. ESPECIALLY in the gym and during missions.

One day he suggests the two of you train together in hand to hand combat. He has this whole plan where he pins you on the mattress and kisses you just like in a movie scene. Yeah, well, if only you didn’t land a punch straight to his nose that sent him down butt-first.

You spend the rest of the day in med-bay with him. His ego will never recover.

When the two of you finally get together (it was after a mission almost went wrong) it’s not a surprise for the team, you could swear you saw Natasha and Clint exchange money in the living room.

You go on morning runs with him and Steve and he’s happy he finally has someone that runs at a human speed. He also likes to take you to exhibits where he spends the entire time teasing you and calling you a nerd (but he actually loves seeing you so excited and passionate).

He absolutely loves the way he can rest his chin on your head and how well you fit in his (huge) arms.

After the War (Draco Malfoy)

Summary: During the war, Draco finds out that the reader got hurt during the war

A/N: I listened to the song “Everything Ends” from AVPSY (A Very Potter Senior Year) while writing this and I cried.

“Don’t leave my side.” You said while holding on to Draco. He looked down at you. “Never.” He said and kissed you.

So, somewhere along battling the war, Draco and you got separated. One moment he was fighting a death eater, the next he couldn’t find you. He got really panicked and started running around to look for you. He saw Hermione Granger, who was one of your best friends. Normally, he would ignore her and make a snide remark to himself, but he was desperate.

“Gra- Hermione, have you seen Y/N?” He asked worried.

“No, I haven’t. Is she okay?”

“No! I don’t know!I can’t find her!” And then he ran away, trying to find Y/N. But first, he ran into another death eater. He recognized them as Antonin Dolohav

“Mr. Malfoy, what a shame that you chose the wrong side.” He said but before he could say another thing, Draco had killed him with the killing curse. (A/N: And by Draco killing him, Remus Lupin never dies. So, lets all thank Draco) He then went back to looking for you. It was very nerve-racking for Draco, and he started to think of the worst. What if you were dead? what if he never found you? And that’s when he saw it, the most painful sight he’s ever seen. You were lying there, with a very bloody leg. He ran over to you and saw that you were barely breathing.

“Y/N? Baby,” He said, pushing some hair out of your face. You were happy to see Draco. “Draco, if I die-” “You’re not going to die, I’m-” “Draco, please, we both know I’m not going to last long, but I want you to know, I love you, and I’ve never loved anyone like you.” You said and wiped some Draco’s tears away.

“Y/N, I love you so much.” He said and you started to close your eyes. “Please don’t close your eyes.”

“D-Draco, just hold me, hold me please.” He lifted you up and you wrapped your arms around him while he started talking to you.

“Remember when we had our first date? When you wore that floral dress, you were so beautiful. At that moment, I knew that I loved you. From the first day, I knew that we were going to be together forever.” ad with that, he noticed your eyes closed and you stopped breathing. He set you down gently and then the real tears came. He cried so hard he didn’t care what else happened to him. He kept looking at you, hoping that you would open your eyes and tell him that you were going to be okay and it was all a prank.

You were buried in that floral dress, and Draco made sure you had a proper funeral where people would remember you. A lot of people came, because you were the person who made friends with everybody. He wore all black, but had a ring on. It was a promise ring that you gave to him. It was simple, a sliver band. But, he loved it and wore it everyday. He had hoped to marry you and live his whole life with you. But, sometimes, things don’t go as planned.
