ON A QUIET NIGHT in a deep, secluded part of the forest, there was a faint sound of laughter from teenagers. The fire was roaring as Spider’s face flushed a rosy pink from embarrassment. Meanwhile, his best friends and sister were laughing their asses off. In their game of truth or dare, Spider had been asked the last time he’d had an “accident” and the answer had been more recently than they had thought.

“Ok, in my defense, I had drunk a lot of water that night.” Spider said, extremely embarrassed “Plus, none of you guys can laugh because I know you’ve done stuff worse”

“Yeah, yeah, whatever you say skxawng. Now hurry up and ask someone else” Lo’ak laughed, giving Spider a shove.

Spider’s eyes scan the group, landing on his twin “Lady, truth or dare?”

“Dare, obviously. I’m not a wimp like you.” you say, smiling while rolling your eyes.

Spider ignores your remark, staying silent for a few seconds.

“Come on Spider, tell the girl her dare.” Neteyam says. He turns to his right, giving the shorter girl a smile. You stare at your brother waiting, until he finally locks eyes with you. He has this small smirk on his face that makes his sister start to sweat.

“Ok Stinkbug, your punishment is that you gotta French the person to your left for 30 seconds” Spider says, thinking he has his sister in a chokehold. You roll your eyes at the nickname and start laughing.

“Wow, is that really the best you could do.” You look at Kiri with a smirk. You’ve kissed both Sully brothers before, mostly during games of spin the bottle with the other Omaticaya teens. Obviously, Spider had known that. What your brother hadn’t known, however, was that Lo’ak had been your first kiss and you had been both brothers first.

You turns to her left, to the sibling you’ve been friends with the longest, Neteyam.

You hold his cheek and lean in to kiss him. Neteyam grabs the back of your neck, instantly kissing you back. He bites your lip softly, as if asking her for entrance. You part your lips, inviting his tongue in. No one tells you both, but the 30 seconds had ended a while ago. You two were too caught up in the kiss to notice. After a few more seconds, Spider and Lo’ak make fake gagging noises.

“Oh my Eywa, I need to clean my eyes after witnessing that” Lo’ak says, trying not to laugh.

“I think i need to get my mind erased. Removed even.” Spider says, looking at his sister and best friend like a child watching their parents kiss.

The two are still holding each other while looking at their siblings. They turn back to each other smiling.

“Shut up, at least I actually kiss people and not their ass.” You say getting laughter from the group. “Ok let’s see who’s going next… Kiri, truth or dare”

“Oh, um, truth” Kiri says half nervous, half excited. She knows her best friend wouldn’t ask her anything like crushes because she already knows.

“What was the last secret someone in the circle told you” You ask, thinking that it had been one of your own stupid little secrets that you wasn’t afraid to share. Boy were you wrong.

Kiri’s eyes widen, directly in front of her, avoiding eye contact with everyone to avoid giving away whose secret it was. “I-I don’t think I can tell you” Kiri says, giving her best friend a cowardly look. You do a double take, looking confused.

“Was I not the last person to tell you a secret?” you asks, still very confused seeing as the girl had just told her best friend a secret about 3 hours ago, just before they snuck out.

“You’re weren’t. I was the last person who told her a secret.” Lo’ak says, cheeks turning a very subtle shade of purple. He looks at his sister and nods.

“Ok, well, earlier Lo’ak had told me that he has a crush…” Kiri pauses, giving him one last look before she announces it.

“Who?” you ask, giving a slight smile that doesn’t quite reach your eyes. Thoughts rush through your head, upset and sad, curious and regretful. You’ve liked Lo’ak for a while now, but although you considered it, you never told him in fear of ruining the friendship. The same reason you hadn’t told his brother. Now you wish you had told him, and then maybe just maybe-

Her thoughts get cut off as Kiri says one word. Not a name, but a word “You.”

Your vision refocuses as you look across the circle, at your brother’s best friend. “Wha-“ You get cut off.

“Wait,” Neteyam says from next to you “I like you too.” He glances down to his side. “I have for a while now.”

You look between the brothers, and then at Kiri, who’s smiling. The three boys all look confused as to how and why the girls are basically telepathically communicating.

“So…are you guys gonna tell us what’s happening or are you guys gonna keep having your eye conversation?” Spider says, getting a look from his sister.

“Well, Little Lady over here actually has crushes of her own over here.” Kiri says, looking at both her brothers.

“Well, who are they?” Lo’ak asks his sister, not getting the hint.

“It’s us, you skxawng.” Neteyam says looking at his brother with genuine concern. He then glances at you, giving you a soft smirk.

The group stops the game and talk for a little while, discussing the crushes, like for how long it’s been. The brothers make jokes with each other about competing for the girl.

“Hey, guys it looks like it’s almost trr’ong. Maybe we should head back before Jake and Neytiri wake up” Spider says standing up. The group walks back to the kelku, still talking about the events of the night.

WHEN THEY ARRIVE, everyone exchanges goodnights with each other. Lo’ak walks up behind you and grabs your wrist before you disappear behind the beaded curtain separating the girls’ room from the rest of the house. You whip around, your hair almost hitting Lo’ak’s lower chest from how close he is.

“Wow, Bug. I thought you liked me too.” Lo’ak says with a mock frown. His big, yellow eyes looking down straight into yours, sending chills down your spine and raising goosebumps on your arms and legs.

“Wh-What do you mean?” you ask, face and ears flushed and burning impossibly hot at the close proximity. If you just went up on your tiptoes, you would’ve been close enough to kiss him. He was slightly bent over you, so it was possible. Should yo-.

“You said goodnight to everyone but me, Bug. C’mon, did you seriously forget about me.” he cuts off your thoughts. Looking at you with that stupid shit-eating grin.

“You’re so annoying. Goodnight Lo” you say,!rolling your eyes. You blow him a mocking kiss and enter your shared bedroom.

As soon as you enter the room, you are once again grabbed by the wrist and pulled onto Kiri’s bed.

“What was that?!” Kiri excitedly asks, her smiling while holding both of your hands. You can tell how happy she is for you, despite that being her brother.

“It was nothing, Ki.” You say, cheeks flushing slightly, smile timid.

“C’mon Dee, you gotta tell me. I told you about the dream I had about your brother, you telling me what just happened would equal it out. We always tell each other everything.” Kiri says.

Ah, yes. The dream Kiri had about Spider last week. Kiri had told you that she had a cute little dream about her and your brother. They were much older than now, about 6 years in the future. The two had been married with 2 kids, a boy and a girl. The boy had looked like you, his aunt, the same hair and eyes.

You telling her what happened wouldn’t even be considered half as equal as her telling you her dream, something from the confines of her imagination.

“Ok,” you say, still blushing “so just now when we all said goodnight, I had apparently forgotten to say goodnight to Lo’ak. And I was about to walk in to the room, but he grabbed my wrist and brought it up. But he said it kind of mockingly, which you know I absolutely love. So I said goodnight and blew him a little joke goodnight kiss.”

“Ooo. That’s cute and all, but I know you’re leaving something out.” Kiri says giving you a knowing look “So…tell me what you were thinking about while all of this was happening.”

Out of all people in the world, Kiri always knew that you always have an inner dialogue. Especially in situations like that.

“Oh right. The whole time he was kinda of bent over so his head was slightly hovering above mine. And I know for a fact if I gone on my tiptoes, I could’ve kissed him. I would’ve, but as i was debating it, he cut my thoughts off. I knew the closest I would get to kissing him tonight would be to blow him one.” You say, surprisingly all in one breathe.

You and Kiri fangirl over all the interactions you two had had today with each of your crushes. An hour later, finally, you both had gotten tired. You two had changed your loincloths from the day, and gotten in to bed.

“Kaltxi, Lady Boo.”

“Kaltxi, Kiri Boo.”

You lay, staring at the wall of the kelku next to your bed. You start to think about what would happen to your relationship with Lo’ak if you did kiss him. What would happen to your relationshipr if l was with Neteyam. Your thoughts eventually stop racing, your breathing slow as you drift into sleep.

THE NEXT MORNING, you wake up to Tuk standing by your bed, whispering and shaking your arm. “Lady…Lady, wake up” Tuk says, her face glowing with youth and excitement for the events of the day.

“Mmhmm.” you groan, eyes adjusting to the light. You fully sit up and look at the bed to your right, Kiri still sleeping. The house is completely silent, except for the sounds of Kiri’s breathing. You look out your window, the sun is halfway up.

“It’s your turn to make breakfast. I’m hungry.” Tuk says. She looks at you, simple but serious.

“Right,” you say. How could you have forgotten it was your day to make breakfast. Once all of you guys had hit your teenage years, Jake had convinced Neytiri to have you five older kids start making the meals for the family one day a week. Two out of the other three days either Jake or Neytiri would make the meals. At the end of the week, you would all make a meal together, as well as teaching Tuk for when she reaches 13. You slowly get out of your bed, the cold floor hitting the bottoms of your feet. “Should I make my smoothies for breakfast this morning?” you ask, rubbing your eyes.

“YES!” Tuk says excitedly, her fanged-smile wide.

Your smoothies consist of your two favorite fruits in the island, Fortune’s and Dawn Fruit. Then you add in Lionberry seeds for protein. You give Tuk her smoothie and a banana.

You finish everyone else’s smoothies and place them in a line. You grab your own, taking a small sip, when you hear a beaded curtain open and close. You turn around to say good morning, but your eyes immediately widen at the sight before you.

Now, you’ve obviously never seen the boys with a shirt on, but something was in the air on this particular morning. The view in front of you was surprisingly better than the beautiful sunrise you had woken up to. Neteyam yawned, stretching his arms up. His toned abdomen slightly glowing from the sunlight and some sweat from the night. Your eyes go to his arms next, biceps flexed as he stretched.

“Goodness, he looks almost heavenly this morning.” you think to yourself.

“So…are you gonna say trr’awve or just gawk at me like you haven’t seen a man in days?” he asks, slightly smiling.

“Trr’awve, asshole.” you say mock enthusiastically.

“Well, now, I think that might just be worse.” he laughs. He hugs you and thanks you for breakfast this morning. The rest of the household wakes up and goes on with their days. The helping Jake find more fruits, seeds, etc. You three girls help Neytiri out around the house.

While carving a bow, you thoughts drift. After the events of the night before, you knew that nothing would ever be the same. Although, you didn’t really mind it.

a/n: hey guys i js wanted to let anyone know that this is my first ever fic that i will be writing but this is kinda a prologue of the fic and it’ll explain everything that needs to be known. this takes place during the events of atwow and afaa(towards the middle) so if you haven’t watched the new one i will post smth once i finish the first half(atwow) so there is no spoilers. also reader has no description until the big event happens but it would only slightly alter reader to fit the metkayina and omaticaya characteristics. for purposes of this fic however only readers height will be described for the most part. she does not have to be identical to spider they can be fraternal twins. if anyone has any questions, concerns, or statements in general, you can comment or say it on my ask me anything in my blog.<33 (also lowercase for most sentences just for this)

this fic is a love triangle about spider’s twin sister y/n(not much use of this in actual fic)”ladybug” socorro, aonung, and the sully brothers with her in the middle of it all. lady grew up with the sully kids like spider but when they were younger she was very shy and scared unlike her brother. jake helped and watched her eventually come out of her shell as she got older. as the kids grew up into teenagers, they started catching feelings and one night ladybug finds out both brothers like her but she also likes both. then when they go to the metkayina, lo’ak falls for tsireya causing ladybug to get a bit jealous and she hangs out with neteyam more. while they are there, a big event happens that will not only affect ladybug but the brothers and her relationship with tsireya and aonung.

Neytiri had grown close to her teaching her how to bead and trusting her more than her eldest child at most times.

Ladybug had started to feel that way about him since she was 5. whenever she’s upset, he’s the first to notice and vice versa.
