Coming out to the cemetery was nothing out of the ordinary. He had come here often, at least once every other week - just to sit next to the gravestone that belonged to his father, to give him updates on how things were going for him, how the gym was holding up, and... how he was, in general. He knew that even if he wasn’t physically there with him, his father could still hear him, and that was more than enough.

Today, however, Falkner finds himself sitting in front of the gravestone. Eyes heavy, lips pressed together, unable to say anything. There’s nothing that he can say right now, he feels that there’s really nothing he can give updates on. He thinks of nothing in particular, eyes focused on the name on the grave. 

The sound of heels clacking behind him pulls him out of his daze, as he turns to look over his shoulder towards a familiar face. He doesn’t say anything, and a smile that would normally graze his face at the sight of his fellow League members isn’t present.

“Clair...”

“It is... nice to see you. Are you here to pay your respects?”
