The ache I feel in my chest every time a strong breeze goes by, bringing along the scent of the forests around my home, is so real and so intense. I can’t even begging to describe the absolute longing, the homesickness, the comfort and complete loss I feel.

When I stretch my talons in the grass and dip my tail into a river. When I gallop in the trees, hopping from branch to branch, gliding between mountaintops. When I feel that ache in my chest, I know what I was meant to be.

I recently moved into a new house and my fiancé was so so kind and made me a little nest area down in the basement behind his work desk. Once I fix it up and put everything where it belongs I’ll take a picture for you all!
