Draculina #5 Cover Art (Guillem March Variant)
HALLOWEEN DOODLES 2025 PART 1.
Yeah, I know it's December. I just missed doing anything special art-wise for Halloween. So enjoy these. I drew some Dracula's and some Witches.
Draculina #1 (2022)
40k Sisters of Battle: order of our crimson curse? They're at once both sinners and saints.
some xenos befoulment forced upon them a vampiric mutation, a thirst for that most vital of vitae.. their hospitallers have to keep both steady vigil and steadier discipline because the same blood the sister need to consume could also be given to a civilian or guardsman in a transfusion. the put down the sisters who buckle to their gluttony for blood and becoming no better than glorified ticks.
they have nearly space marine levels of mental discipline, because if the sisters of the crimson curse didn't they would've long since been put down. the sisters of the crimson curse give Sanguinius extra reverence. Even though these cursed nuns guard their secret curse with utmost zeal, the Blood Ravens have a vial of corrupted vitae that they claim was gifted to them as a commemoration towards a collaborated campaign the astartes and the vampiric sisters had in the Ghost Stars to purge the Cypher Lords… the order of our crimson curse make no such claim that they've ever willingly handed over any vials of their own cursed blood. For whatever reason the administratum keeps giving the Order of Our Crimson Curse rations, the vampiric sisters can't eat the rations do to their xenos curse… so instead of waiting for the food to rot - they instead give their rations away to anyone who asks, especially civilians (thieves are not only rude, they also get quietly feed upon by the sisters of the Order of Our Crimson Curse). These cursed sisters try to avoid letting none inquisitors or high-ranking ecclesiarchy from knowing of the Crimson Curse, but guardsmen or/and civilians do notice that the sisters don't eat nor drink..
Canoness Superior: Carmilla, the leach queen, her power spear (the Spear of Thirsting Mercy) has thirsted upon many arteries. She wishes to find a cure for the crimson curse, and free her sisters of its blasphemous grip. Carmilla is called the "leach queen" because she is the leader of the order of our crimson curse, they are leaches and she their metaphorical queen. Despite being afflicted by the crimson curse, she still has some impressive tactical forethought.
Rumors and canards claim that a former canoness superior; Draculina, the last of the Azure Chalice, shall return when her damned order needs her most from a crimson mist she'll come and the enemies of man shall face the Mosquito Saint with her blessed chain glaive and holy chainshield (a rounder boarding shield with an edge like that of the whirling blade of a chain sword), her most dangerous quality, besides her weapons and conditional immortality, is her methodical mind declouded from the crimson curse thanks to the Emperor's holy power allowing her to rise again when the need has climaxed!
They're the blood angels of the sisters of battle. The absence of faith is the haematic mark of damnation. Grab a chalice, sisters, because there's going to be a flood!
