To celebrate being sore-eye's free, JodiesDaddy and I treated ourselves to dinner and beer at Draft Gastropub. We love it here. JodiesDaddy for the beer (he will always prefer an ice cold - no ice please - beer to fancy wine) and me for the food haha
We both had a pint of Leffe to start. JodiesDaddy had the dark Leffe and I had the Leffe Blond. Hate to admit it, but that pint got me tipsy hahaha
We Shared: Angry Drunk Mussels
This is our favorite! It is sooooooo good! It's steamed with Hoegaarden among other things. And the mussels were so huge! Truth be told, we did not even finish this.
JodiesDaddy had: Pork and Fennel Sausage
The sausage was grilled with Dark Leffe and was served on a bed of mashed potatoes. I had a bite of it and I could really taste the fennel! :) Good!
JodiesMommy had: Fish and Frites (no surprise here haha)
Draft has one of the best Fish and Chips I've ever had. So forgive me for being unoriginal, I just had to order it again :) So where is the beer in this?! The batter was a Becks Beer Batter.
It was a great night. And funny thing was we even bumped into my twin - who we initially invited but she never replied to my text. Can't wait to go to Draft again.
