Hey so trans folks, your attitude about drag needs to change REAL quick.
Life is not RuPaul. That is not how most communities of drag work. Drag is DOMINATED by trans performers in areas other than hollywood. I know many trans women, trans men, and nonbinary people who do ALL sorts of drag, myself included. The amount of cis people in the community is a massive minority. I think I know a single cis white gay queen, only one.
Immediately shitting on drag or assuming because someone rec’d it to you they think less of you or who you are is insane. Local drag communities are some of the most accepting, punk spaces I’ve ever been in. Everyone is welcome, even the ‘squares’. They are FULL of trans and nonbinary people, who do drag at a net loss for the sake of having fun and entertaining others. Even online there is a plethora of drag entertainment that includes and is focused on trans performers.
Stop fucking making it out like the majority of queens are crossdressing cis men - it is not true in the slightest.
