Given how shy and quiet Buddy was, it was hard to remember that she could turn into a dragon when she wanted to. But then again, she rarely brought it out. Something about it scaring too many people when it was brought out.
Tonight was an exception.
After years of begging from Bulma, Goku and Krillin, Buddy randomly mentioned about wanting to sleep outside in her full dragon form and wouldn’t mind if anyone decided to join in. Nothing else was said.
They witnessed the giant white blight that had enveloped their friend, replacing her with a large white dragon with piercing blue eyes. The dragon had made an appearance before, but they never had time to truly appreciate the beauty and uniqueness this form was.
The dragon’s head lowered to the ground, stretching out all her limbs out on the grassy ground.
“Woah!” The trio gasped.
Bulma took out a measuring tape and immediately started taking measurements while taking notes and rambling about sciency terms. “Look at the size of these wings! I bet you’re gonna grow much bigger than this!” Bulma proclaimed while trying to stretch the wing over her head. The response was a low purr that made the ground shudder.
Krillin laughed loudly as the tail he sat on lifted him up high. “Higher Buddy! This is amazing!”
Goku wandered to one of the large blue eyes and smiled. “You feel so much more powerful Buddy! Not to mention how much bigger!” He did his best to hug her head. The boy only laughed louder as the giant head was pressed against him and louder purrs came from the white beast.
“Okay boys! Tie for bed.” Bulma declared as she brought out her sleeping bag and extra fluffy blankets from her capsule. Krillin was lowered down as Goku made his way over to his selected spot to sleep.
Everyone had chosen the area near her stomach to rest on. Good thing Buddy has decided to relieve herself before this. The trio had their sleeping bags ready (though it took a bit of convincing to get Goku to properly use his bag. He insisted he didn’t need one, but Bulma and Krillin weren’t having that.).
Buddy smiled to herself as she heard soft gasps and muffled squeals once she draped her wing over them. Maybe she could bring this form out more often. It was clear that they weren’t afraid of her looking like this, maybe more people could accept her.
The smaller figures under her wing snuggled closer to her scaly belly as they fell into deep sleep.
Oh yes, she was definitely bringing this form out for more sleepovers.
